I've heard that there are players named in the squad who aren't fit enough to play. So it's all we've got! Kendall the ref as well! Just when you think the season can't possibly get any betterer!

If we are carrying players with injuries (other than long-term absentee's) then the club need to inform fans, other than odd comments post matches the information is limited. The same rhetoric is used each time we lose we did not have a fit 21 to pick from. I thought personally we were getting more players back fit to play.

"If we are carrying players with injuries (other than long-term absentee's) then the club need to inform fans" Sensible. Here Wigan, run at X as he's got no strength in his knees, then pass to who is on the left side of Y as he's still groggy from a cold.

Juniors Back in Town (Well 50 miles away to be Precise) Keighley more of a attraction than Washington DC.

Keighley more of a attraction than Washington DC. Well that's understandable!

Massive challenge tonight, really need the forwards to compete, Brierley to own the defence and command/call defence from the back (First try v KR he just left it to Sio) and Cross not to shot the line we've leaked points with rushed edge defence each game. The backs can cause problems if they get ball to use.

Well, I made it to 21.24 tonight.
Poor game.
Wigan were bang average, but we were worse. I'm coming to the conclusion that Rowley just tells them to go out there and enjoy themselves rather than formulate any plans. Disjointed and monotone in attack, enthusiastic but incompetent in defense. We really are not playing like a team at all, but that may be a confidence thing.
At the moment, I could be watching any Salford team from the last thirty years bar 2019. We are consistently mediocre with the odd flash of what could be.
After thirty-odd years it's getting harder to accept the typical Salford displays...

Never threatened Wigans line once. Plenty of effort but little power going forward and a lack of invention and back up. Best team by far won

Out enthused by Wigan, line defence static, half backs attacking alone too much and not bringing forwards on, Sneyds field kicking abysmal, Lafai signed new contract but worst game this season and zBrierley awful, I never thought Iβd say play Escare instead, Brierley a headless chicken and fb positional play non existent
Having said that Smith,French, Field, Leulai, Marshall all international class. Wigan tackled and backed up in numbers and were by far the better team

Liked the look of Dupree, Luckley did well. Centres seemed to have been told to rush out we just didnβt do it properly and it gave them lots of opportunity. Going forward particularly near their line was very poor. Similar to challenge cup game, wigan weβre just better in the second half tonight.
Unfortunately with the squad we have, and the injuries keep stacking up, performances like this are to be expected. I donβt think you can fault the effort, and weβll still have a few games where we produce a really good game, but we undoubtedly this will happen again too.

Just feel the half backs donβt link up with the forwards and the forwards donβt play as a pack
But on a positive note; Akuola played his best 15 min for the Club on his last spell; wonder what got to him.
Croft great but needs to back off a bit, let the forward# do more work and then back them up. Forwards lone runs and not runnin* onto the ball , just like the bad old days

After thirty-odd years it's getting harder to accept the typical Salford displays... Spot on with this post my conclusion is that Rowley does not have a plan nor are we any better off than we were this time last year. Centres rushing out of the line gifted at least two tries to Wigan - stop this stupidity week in week out, and in attack we are clueless. If in his post match analysis Rowley thinks it was only attack that was a problem then I've no idea what this amazing defence he see's is. Matty Peat at Wigan talks about respecting the ball, our coach needs to think like this, do the basics well in defence and earn the right to attack - screw off this attacking crap that's Rowley ball as it does not enable us to compete with teams. As a final point I'd get Escare back v Wakey - Brierley's defence is all over and Escare offers something different ball in hand.
