Did you not say I was being overly dramatic? Is that not a criticism? Did you not make comments about certain fans being balloon's in an indirect reply after I posted? The emotions of one highly intense game and the actions of an egotistic person again does not necessarily mean they love something. A question though... would you say that Marwan loves Salford more than you or I? Would you say he has that passion still and shows it week in and week out? "Did you not say I was being overly dramatic? Is that not a criticism?" No it isn't! The balloons were the people who had a go at Marwan in person and there's no excuse for that. It seems all the evidence that doesn't confirm your way of seeing this has no value. "when they ask me about Ayersrock I'll say we disagreed on alot of thing but he loved the club and while we agree on that not much else matters." just a reminder.
What would you define it as then when calling someone overly dramatic if not being critical of them? Could you also define what your would class this comment as if not a criticism? "It seems all the evidence that doesn't confirm your way of seeing this has no value". Within all my posts on this thread russ I have never once actually been critical of anyone and have respected everyone's opinion have I not? If you believe I have then do evidence this. You are quite rightly entitled to yours as am I. I have posed questions to which none do appear to get answered and I actually thought this was what you do when debating? And what else have we disagreed on russ when you say we have on a lot of things? I've never spoken to you before as far as I am aware and how have we disagreed exactly on this subject?

Don’t think Marwan made much money when he bought Hastings but it certainly had a major effect on the Club. Balance AR Well firstly, Marwan was not actually at the club when Jackson came over in 2018 so he did not buy the player as the owner of the club. Secondly, he did not buy the player anyway as players are very rarely bought and we did not pay a fee to Manly for him. He potentially funded part of his wages if he did and it would have been him giving money to the club for them to then pay the wages so it was not him directly paying it unless once again underhand shenanigans occurred. He in effect was a sponsor/donor of that, just like all others who also sponsor the club or donate. IF, and I say if because neither you or I actually have hard proof one way or the other that he did pay any monies to the club to fund the players wages once he had left, then of course I once again grateful and just like i have stated before I was grateful for him saving the club when he did. HOWEVER, that does not detract from the fact that he also scrapped the academy setup, left the club with long term lingering debts, created further issues and walked away with the club in effectively the same position he found us in 2012. Or are you suggesting that this is incorrect? If you believe it to be, then answer back as to why my statement is incorrect?

I think you’ll find Marwan bought Hastings as an act of altruism and his love of the Club.

MR come on he was passionate about the Club, misguided, but passionate. Buying JH was very big in saving us from relegation.
Why else would he do it?

I think it's time we drew a line under this AR.
I like debating but this is going round in circles.
Maybe we'll debate something else far more important later on, till then all the best.

I think you’ll find Marwan bought Hastings as an act of altruism and his love of the Club. Can you provide evidence please where he 'bought' Jackson as he wasn't at the club at that time and therefore not in any position "to buy" a player in any case. I don't ever recall there being a transfer fee advertised for Jackson to come to Salford so happy to be proven incorrect on this. Noticed you avoided my other question once again....

If there's anyone here at the moment something's been bugging me, history but that can't be helped. Who was the balloon who hit Billy Burgess off the ball in the CCF? I was there, I remember it happening but can't place the name. It's not important just annoying.

Yes Denis Hartley right from the kick off, and I spoke to Chris Hesketh, he said definitely a try, which the ref disallowed. Pity no VAR

The idea that the like of Thompson et al would have referred anything to VAR ... I knew some of that set of refs and NO CHANCE. It wasn't pig headiness but a pride in their craft.
