The thing is that we have had a lot of people who loved the club and despite rumours I believe Marwan is one of those. And if we examined all of the people who've run the club in the same way as Marwan I'm not sure any of them would come out of it all too well. I agree with you about the efforts of King, Trainor and Bleasy though. Moor Lane was the only alternative at one point and will give us control. The reason I'm not entirely happy with that is I think the RFL will change the inclusion criteria which will see us demoted without it being a product of how we do on the field. Anybody know what Bleasey’s salary is ? Nothing to do with me, but he makes us a lot of money with his shrewd buys and in the past has got lots of people to support the Club financially. Jackson not a bad buy, and I seem to remember he got the money off Marwan.

I don't doubt he had affection for the club but he was also willing to rip the club from its home city to further his own gains was he not? That to me does not scream a love of the club. I do not understand your point about others running the club the same way Marwan did? Before Marwan it was John Wilky and before him, Snape. The former ran us up until the push to leave the willows and in to a new stadium very well but on a tight budget. The latter brought us the glory years of the 70's with his investment. How do either then not come out of it too well? The RFL will do what they do but how do Salford do anything about that? Yes they forced the clubs hand to move stadium back when they did but it is not them now that have us in the predicament that we find ourselves in. That has been caused over the past 10 years. Your a bit overly dramatic AR I think many people have suggested moving to Manchester as a way of moving the club forward. And as I said there would never be any gains from running an RL team. First of all he did it for the opportunities around the stadium then he wanted to rip the team from it's home for other opportunities. It's obvious you're not keen but you do realise how all this sounds?
I don't want to point out how I think Wilkie or Brian did poor jobs and that's really my point. I appreciate what they did, I know they all had the best intentions for the club which did or did not work but they were there keeping the Club alive and I couldn't have done it.

What mixed messages? What's beyond you? The horizon. HKR match now long gone The horizon? Still not seeing what mixed messages? You are right, the HKR match has long gone but you took this thread off topic when you started once again going on about how the club is a feeder club and how wonderful life was under Koukash.

How am I being overly dramatic? You tried in earlier posts to make out like I was anti-Marwan and as I have said previously, I am not. I would have loved it to have worked out with him and I loved some of the Big "up yours" to the other clubs and the RFL and he brought some good ideas to the table. You are the one who are you not who has said he loved the club, I merely pushed back on that notion when you attempted to criticise my posts and presented the facts to support this belief that his love wasn't quite as it may have seemed.

I don't think I did try to make you out to be anything AR, other than a passionate SRD fan and there's nowt wrong with that. I didn't criticise your posts AR I argued with some of the content. Now think back to the million pound pitch invasion and who was exhibit A for the prosecution and then say he didn't/doesn't love the club. Nothing is ever quite what it seems AR mate...... I've said all along that interpretation is everything and when they ask me about Ayersrock I'll say we disagreed on alot of thing but he loved the club and while we agree on that not much else matters.

Did you not say I was being overly dramatic? Is that not a criticism? Did you not make comments about certain fans being balloon's in an indirect reply after I posted? The emotions of one highly intense game and the actions of an egotistic person again does not necessarily mean they love something. A question though... would you say that Marwan loves Salford more than you or I? Would you say he has that passion still and shows it week in and week out?

"Did you not say I was being overly dramatic? Is that not a criticism?" No it isn't! The balloons were the people who had a go at Marwan in person and there's no excuse for that. It seems all the evidence that doesn't confirm your way of seeing this has no value. "when they ask me about Ayersrock I'll say we disagreed on alot of thing but he loved the club and while we agree on that not much else matters." just a reminder.

Don’t think Marwan made much money when he bought Hastings but it certainly had a major effect on the Club. Balance AR
