This Salford team cannot play to conditions, Syned needs to massively improve keep it simple. This performance is not good enough.

Two weeks break players back and this is an absolute shambles. Making Rovers look like a top team. No idea what's going on but Rowley needs to sort it.
Two players binned attitude all over the place horror show today.

We entered the season knowing the pack wasn't strong enough. Watkins ( again ) and Lafai gave it their all today. Addy must have something on Rowley to justify his place in the team. |

The defence for the 2nd half tries is disgraceful, the way the KR winger cut in was a joke then the tries that followed. Rowley needs to sort out the defence especially on the flank Cross and Sio defend. Definitely one of our worst games of the season, very few positives to take out of this game massive improvement needed all round.

I didn't see the game,but from what I read Rowley was a bit critical of a the performance of a few. It went along the lines of its all right getting up for Wigan and Saints. |

Addys all we’ve got mate; Club threadbare, no funds and top forwards out long term. I think Rowley and Blease do a magnificent job with v poor funds and we can only play what we have. Club needs to raise money commercially but I see we’re having a 150 something in place of the squad builder but still we don’t have all players sponsored. |

We traveled today as a a group of friends and family to remember Bonita Red. I would add his son is over from Singapore and one of his grandsons a newly found Red Deviil were both in attendance.In what we would call typical fashion we went to collect our pre paid tickets only to be told by the HKR staff that “Salford had forgotten to bring them “ the HKR staff were brilliant and went the extra mile to accommodate us without subjecting us to lengthy interrogation regarding payment. Well done to HKR. After previous matches we ere confident of a barnstorming victory.The length of the field break didn’t end in the inevitable try and that I’m afraid was that after 25 minutes. HKR were not an invincible team and our lads gave it all,it was just one Of those days. At one point I was praising the official,but unfortunately he allowed the match to descend into farce at the back end. A disappointing day but we achieved what we wanted to remember BR.

We had players back, more options and bar a few the team just did not turn up. Look at the KR tries back especially those in the 2nd half the lack of defensive effort is there to see. Hope Rowley had made his point that this is not good enough. |

Sadly that’s us, few good displays then when it gets bad no competition for places. The fact is we’re a team fighting for survival each year with few resources; a breeding ground for other clubs, and we have to sell our best players, or unable to retain them to keep going.
Let’s hope the Seb G bid happens but the Club and City need to fully get behind him.
Not doom and gloom, just the position as its materialised since Marwans money left, unfortunately.

I keep repeating myself, but we need a coach who is defensive based, or a defensive coach that can change our mentality and training. It's okay playing an expansive off-the-cuff attacking style, but we'll only ever contend the top half of the table with a ruthless defensive structure in place. We're squirting into the wind with our style of play. It's all surface and no grind. Which is fine when other teams have off days, but decent teams know how to win ugly before they get fancy.
Until this happens, in my opinion, we'll be the same old Salford for the last thirty-odd years barring one good season.
