It would not matter if Salford City didn't go anywhere near Moor Lane, and Sale had it their selves we still can't pay the rent.

There used to be a right miserable sod on the ST and you're right up there with him in the positivity stakes. Bet you're a barrel of laugh at parties (if anyone ever invites you!😂).

At least SS I don’t have to resort to the gutter to express myself. End of mate. I find it highly amusing that you think its acceptable to have a go at the Board members of the club constantly slating them, yet as soon as someone gives it you back a little you dont like it.

Okay I'd like everyone to stand back from the blue touch paper of silly argument and pettiness because I bring you ....... drum roll, trumpets
Marwan!
There's a story on serious about RL (yes I know!) that he might get back into SL.
Like too many articles in SAL there's almost nothing of subtance in what's written, it goes round the houses and arrives nowhere.
Whereas many main media /legacy journalists just just make stuff up to support the government SAL has made a science and an art form out of saying nothing at all!
So in keeping with this thread and taking a leaf out of SAL's book I wonder of this proposed Marwan resurrection is part of the Gerrard deal?

Everybody has a go in good humour on here guys which is what it’s all about and I’m v happy with anybody having a go but derogatory personal comments from the playground are pathetic. Do you really feel the comments made about Neville is humour?

You dont though, every comment you make you have a go at those running the club! that isnt humour in the slightest. you have inferred on multiple occasions that those running the club are only interested in their own agendas and not the good of the club! if you really wanted to help why dont you put your money where your mouth is and actually help!

I see everyone's still rehearsing for the RETURN OF THE MARWAN!
I put it in capitals to make it sound like a 1960s american fright film advert.

At least SS I don’t have to resort to the gutter to express myself. End of mate. JJR,I am not having ago.But you have ago at the people running the club that's a fact now Neville is in the line of fire. I have been at numerous meetings at Salford City when Neville and Co took over, now the objectives where to go as far as possible, they have had some success to where they are now,but I don't think the Barton stadium was mentioned although they new Moor Lane wasn't good enough for championship if they got that far.So they did Moor Lane up I think it was like flat pack it's basic but it does what they require at this time. But the money came from them they paid for the alterations not the council so we have to pay him for the use of the facilities it's not Neville's fault we have to move. So that's the position at this moment so what I am asking you is do you think Neville should let us have it free because I can't fathom why you keep having ago at him Because I think he is right to want reimbursement from us

I think my point is Dixon that it seems to be all about what Neville wants with his temporary overseas backer. If you look around at the more well established local teams like Bolton, Bury, Wigan etc they have a few good seasons but end up in a mess. The crowds at Salford FC don’t seem to warrant anything special in fact the reverse and to jump into the AJ where we can’t hold our own averaging over 4000 and charging a lot more for entrance seems not a great idea to me especially as a rate payer in these times he’ll get £4m for moving; which I totally object to. If I move from rented property nobody pays me for whatever I’ve done.
As far as the Board is concerned, it seems that it’s just about survival and it’s not a Community Club as I would see it. Salford FC at the AJ combined with Salford RLFC at ML to me breeds disaster for both. But I hope I’m wrong.

JJR I do agree with you that if we end up at Moor Lane, that will be the end of the club and the more I think about it I come to the same conclusion But I don't blame the people running the club and I don't know the answer to make it otherwise, but I can't fathom how people think we can prosper there it would be better if we new exactly where we will be after 2023
