Watson is a good coach. Not so much a lucky one. Twice at cup final. Lost both while being in charge of the better team on the day. Yeah but this time he deserved it!
I'm not sure why there's so much fuss about Smithies a) it was the RLCCF b) it was Wigan

C) He’s not that type of player.

You bloody sad lot. Best team lost. Get past Watson's exit for goodness sake. It is never about his exit which has always been best of luck, very sad, wish you'd stayed.
It's about how once he left he became one of those coaches he always used to moan about raiding our squad.
That means he's shifted to who cares if he wins or loses.
This is hardly Earth shattering nor unexpected or undeserved.

I was hoping Huddersfield would win and don't have any animosity towards him. We have seen on many occasions that Wigan are capable of winning games in that manner and came as no surprise.

As we were not in it, who really cares?

I was much more able to cheer the SRD lads in the 1895 final.
I wouldn't've been too put out if the Giants had won, but had a smug moment when they didn't.
Watto looks a bit the worse for wear though.
