Well that was good. Huge effort and so unlucky. Can't complain when they put that much effort in. Agreed, play like that every week we’ll win more than we lose. Concern about injuries again though, we seem to be getting a fair few

Penalty from the scrum when they knock on. F*ck off Griffiths you prick. Offside was before they knocked on I know what he gave it for but I bet you he doesn't give that the other way round. Anyway, great effort from the lads today... chalk and cheese from what we've been serving up recently and if we can repeat that effort when we get some bodies back we'll be absolutely fine.

Just wanted to say that was a cracking effort and the side deserved better than the end result.

Hopefully one of the games we look back on at the end of the season and say that’s when it clicked. Croft was outstanding and just goes to show when he has that role he has today and the players trust him he can make us tick. Some of the stuff he did today was very Hastings esque let’s just hope we can get him into the same consistency as we did with Jackson

I stand by what I said last week, and at other times this season. We need a defensive coach or a head coach that prides itself on defense. Most of Wigan's early tries were defensively poor reads from us. A tighter defense would have stopped them.
Going forward we've got what it takes but we really need to improve the other half of our game.

Brierley and Taylor out injured next week. King probably suspended. No one back. Down to bare bones against a fully rested Saints team. Fear the worst.

Agree on next week, if we had any other players I’d suggest resting what’s left for the following week. All hands on deck!

I will stick my head above the parapet and wait to be shot down but I thought that was the best overall team performance, over eighty minutes, we have produced so far this season.

I’d be surprised if he gets anything for that

Great game of rugby league that yesterday, the penalties and restarts we gave away was a joke but what impressed me most was how many completed sets we got through. It's no secret the team that completes the most sets and has less errors and penalties, usually win the game. What we did yesterday was go toe to toe for the most part of the game and bar a few head scratching decisions would have won that. We need to build on completing sets and cut out risky passes and offloads on our own twenty and I can see a change in fortune for us.
Big shout for Brierley who I thought had by far his best game in a Salford shirt.
