Thought our game management and completion rate was excellent last night, thought lafai and cross deserve a shout along with king making the hard yards and croft who is a real handful. Looked a decent crowd anyone know what it was last night?

Am I the only person that thought that was a crap game played by 2 poor teams last night?🤔 Bar the last 15 minutes where Budgie's superb break seemed to spark us to life I thought we were very average and only a dreadful Leeds team helped save us from another beating.
The atmosphere was flatter than a witches tit as well until we hit the late purple patch, which usually reflects the performance out on the pitch. Don't get me wrong, I'm chuffed with the win but the performance really wasn't great apart from the last 10-15 and I think some people must've been watching a different game than me!

Deon Cross is some find. We’ve got so much depth in the backs which we missed last year.
We are also a much better side with King in the team. Gained valuable yards yesterday. Also good to see Ormondroyd back in the team.

Always great to beat Leeds,I thought after the first 15 minutes it was going to be the same old of late, but we got their in the end,we can go on about individual's,but we have a coach who is with these boys all week I think he see's what going on,because in the end you win or lose as a team.Their certainly seems more team spirt than last season long may it continue.Enjoy the weekend.

I think the game reflected two sides low on confidence off the back of a few defeats. I thought we could have got it to our edges more especially when they were down to 12 but we sprung to life when we needed to

I thought for the first time this season we had a pack that competed and at times dominated. Agar stated he brought his star stand off from th3 field because his middles were being dominated.
RR this was a Leeds team containing numerous internationals and high level SL players. We held them, dominated them then in the last quarter ran them ragged. A massive step up from last week and I thought for match 6 of the season that Rowley is creating a great team….at the moment😉

As you know I've moved away from RL but as they were on't Telly I settled down for dismal evening of disappointment. I thought Leeds would win.
Even up to 60 minutes I thought SRD would lose but not by much and as the game progressed I thought they would remain unlucky because they were playing well enough to win.
Two teams lacking confidence and fans desperate for a win is a bad recipe for enjoyment at the best of times.
For those who were begging for a side able to grind out a win there were lots of really excellent signs, for those who focus on negatives their nerves will have prevented them from enjoying it.
If the forwards continue in that way they'll put the wind up a fair few teams.
Just saying.

First off Brierley. He’s fundamental to our attacking strategy so he stays. Overall his plus points outweigh the bad. His positional play and tackling is iffy, but his interventions can be decisive on attack. Why,though, does he persist in giving a long flat pass to a team mate when he’s collected a kick. That’s going to cost us one day,but he must be under coach’s instructions. The key moment was obviously Burgess’s break. International class. Other than that,I’d pretty much agree with all the shout outs on here. The ref has a trigger movement, normally linked to a 6 again. On a different night he could’ve cost us the game. Where I give him most credit was for allowing a few quick 20 metre restarts where some of the others like to bring it back until they’re ready,as if to demonstrate some control . Very enjoyable victory

My last bit on Brierley BR, 😂. He’s obviously got talent, not played fb throughout his career but the fundaments of defensive play for a fb are missing and so glaringly obvious. Walker was outstandin* because he covers so much ground across the back, brilliant tackles on Burgess and others, but Brierley seems be like a rabbit in the headlights, stationary, completely out of position at times. I’d just get him to watch the video of Walkers performance last night.
Just dont understand it; he costs us tries already with his defence and those passes😩. Not in the Evalds class yet for me.

Zero tackles for Brierley? Pretty sure he made the tackle when the Leeds try was denied for a double movement.
