Great game. Well played. Pleased for Brierley. Don’t think he made a mistake tonight. Scored a try to boot.

Great win by the boys.
I thought we were bang average in the first half, but so were Leeds. Second half we really upped a gear and made that victory our own. Forwards played very well, particularly King, who was very good tonight with a special mention to ET as well. Burgess possibly changed the game for us with his in-goal take and run. Sneyd, while quite average first half dominated the organising in the second, allowing Croft the freedom that he thrives on. Brierley had a great game and didn't put a foot wrong. Defensively pretty solid and we looked dangerous in patches for the whole match.
Special mention to the ref tonight who I thought reffed very well. Sin bins were spot-on and he didn't make any contentious calls. A decent game, and a rare win over Leeds which always feels extra sweet.

Also impressed by the amount of work gerrard did. Only minor thing is I would like to see ackers go from acting half a bit more. Plus didn't think ormondroyd took it up too many times today, although he did a fair bit defensively. When he did take it up he made good yards.
I'm being very picky as it was a good patient team performance. Let's hope we can take it into the next match. Am intrigued as to who will replace sio and wright

Great win, forwards were terrific, but sorry Brierley defensively is weak positionally and in some of the tackles. Didn’t think I’d say it but Sarge for me there much stronger and braver defensively and can bring the ball out. But enough negatives.
But what a wonderful night that I really wasn’t looking forward to; the Leeds halfbacks well past their sell by date and their pack ground down by the bravery of the Salford pack.

Lying equal 5th in the League, that’ll do me at the moment.

Buzzing all the way home. Three sets of roadworks om M62 and at every tailback I was thinking, this will be irritating all the Leeds fans a lot more than it is me. Bonus.

Do you have something against him as this is so wrong, it makes me think you watched a different match. We need to have a pint and watch a match together so we can discuss these things as they happen. I'd like to hear your views during the match and rationale and then I'd like to explain mine. Hopefully we'd get a bit more aligned

Always happy for that mate, so long as it’s not that rubbish the Club serves up
Good in attack but his defence esp goal line poor at times. Ok, Look at Jack Walkers try saving tackle on Burgess. When their first try appeared Brierley nowhere to be seen, he doesn’t follow the ball across the line. Look at the two Sneyd mistakes behind the line costing tries, where’s Brierley?, Sarge does, look at the poor pass in the early minutes and the dangerous long pass across the back mid game. Look at matches where he’s gone in for the ball on the line with his feet rather than putting his body on the line. .
I’m not saying he’s a bad player, I’m saying he’s not a class full back.

What really gets to me about Leeds and a few other top clubs is the way they continually have a go at the ref. It’s getting beyond a joke now, esp Sezer. In the past as soon as you started on the ref, 10 yards or a penalty against. It’s about time they brought that back before it gets like soccer. Captain only speaks to the ref.
