Short term loans are great when the team is performing but right now I would be calling back Wells from Barrow and getting him in the first team after Mondays showing.

Glad Escare is getting game time even if it is odd games here and there, he performed well for Wakey. From a Salford perspective Brierley is Rowley's first choice, he has had had couple of decent games and then a couple of poor ones. For me there is not much to choose between the the pair, one's a better pivot and the other a better runner of the ball. I hope Escare gets his chance as the season progresses he offers something different.

I also thought I should give a special mention to Morgan for a very good display against Cas and I'm so glad he was mentioned by Rowley too.

The way things are with injuries, we need them both. One on the bench to cover any injuries to our half backs.

I must admit, I was pretty worried seeing him starting at fullback against Cas. However I thought he played really well and was impressive under the high ball. There's never been any doubt about his attacking ability, he's a genuine threat with his trickery and pace - it's his defensive ability I still worry about given his size and weight. He's an obvious target for any opposition forward.
