What a great attendance yesterday over 4,000 in a storm, No Away fans and with Utd playing. Not sure if the club have done any specific marketing for the game or PR but what a great start.
Credit to all those fans who turned up it makes a huge difference.

Probably the wettest crowd in history! Blimey walking past the Barley Malt about 2.30pm the rain, whipped up the by the wind, was so intense the stadium dissapeared from view and it was almost impossible to move. Credit to all who battled on and watched the game soaking from head to toe.!

A mate of mine said the major issue getting to the ground was that they didn't have 2 lanes open heading towards the ground from the Peel Green roundabout. Not sure why but maybe they were worried about the cones being blown away due to the storm? He says he set off in the car from near Moorside Road at around 1.40 and didn't get to the ground until 3.25!!!🤦♂️
I'm without car at the minute so decided to get the 67 bus from near Salford Royal. Had to ditch the bus at The Grapes in Peel Green as it barely moved more than 100 yards in 15 minutes. I missed the first 2 tries and I know some people who didn't get into the ground until about 3.30 due to the parking shambles. Whilst Moor Lane is crap for official parking one thing I'd say is it will be easier to get away after the game. Fans just need to be prepared for a 10 minute walk to/from the ground to their car. Appreciate that's not great for people with mobility issues but there will be plenty of blue badge parking for anyone who really struggles.
I also think Moor Lane should encourage away fans who constantly whinge about getting to the AJ Bell. The Yorkshire mob will just get off the M62 at Prestwich and will be parked up 5 minutes later. After the game they'll be back on the motorway within 15 minutes even having had a 10 minute walk back to their car. For anyone that's ever driven to Headingley/Cas etc you can only dream of being away from the ground that quick!!

Fair point, I drove from Worsley yesterday and ended up going over the new bridge, still missed KO. The issue was the speed at which cars were being let into the Stadium, get more stewards taking money for parking. Also agree re Moor Lane more than happy to walk 10 mins up the road from Sedgley Park. The parking at Moor Lane needs to be prioritised for those that need it.

There was quite a Few Neutrals in the Crowd , And that's why a lot of Season ticket holders seats were sat in, According to a Steward ,It seems there is quite a few Swedish based Salford fans. Judging by the ones at Manchester Airport this Morning.
