To use a proper Salford phrase, It's absolutely minging outside!😫 And as my car died on the M62 coming back from Cas I'll probably have to rely on the bus to get me to the game and back (would've walked if it was a nice day!).
Think a lot of people will be put off by the weather and the crowd will be horrendous. Might not make 2500.

Thanks for the tips, made my workday a lot better! Bit drier here too… hope we are smart enough with the ball in this, a day for the boot of Marc Sneyd

Dunno why, pretty nervous about today's game, think it's cos we will be expected to win, everything crossed the lads play the conditions well

Well that was awful conditions credit to the lads scoring 38 points and Sio with his 4 tries. Thought Burke and King did well when on, would like to see more from Sita, Addy was industrious.
When Syned and Croft combine we seem to find space for fun - the backs will score points.
The official. Anyone know how many penalties Griffiths gave Toulouse? He did his best even when we pushed them off the scrum, another whistle happy ref. Brierley got hit late and it was not even put on report, if that's Saints it is ten mins, the tackle on Welsby v Hull got a sin bin, nothing doing.
So onto Hull who will be without Snozzer, we've got to be in with a chance if we move the ball next week.
Good days work Reds.
What was the attendance? 4000?? Seemed busy considering the conditions and no away fans.

That was a bloody good afternoon’s entertainment.
Brodie Croft with the moment of real class to slip through the line. A very good kicking game throughout. Sio obviously man of the match for four tries, but King Vuniyayawa was outstanding for me, real commitment in every carry.
We had a determination to entertain despite some of the worst conditions I’ve seen at a match. Lafai doesn’t entirely understand wet weather rugby yet but he looks like he’ll be a real handful on a dry track. Brierley scoring under the sticks was a feel good moment.
A slight wobble either side of half time when we got away from the game plan but the rest of the game we were outstanding against a poor Toulouse side who didn’t make a single break. Both their tries were off grubbers. Referee gave most of the fifty fifties to them and we still won easily.
Had a moment of shock when I noticed Bovril wasn’t on the menuboard, but they had some anyway. Obviously the rugger lot don’t drink it. Also amused that the 13 seconds of solidarity were announced and then skipped because the conditions were so awful they just all wanted to start.
The rain was so bad towards the end that the crowd around me started to spontaneously laugh at it. Missed out on the uncle joes mint balls in the half time draw by one number.
A lot to be pleased about. We look solid, committed and full of ideas, and players look like they’re expressing themselves. Akauola looks like he’s lost a lot of weight but didn’t quite find his way into the match. Hopefully just a blip for him. Looked a good crowd for the fixture given the weather too. Not seen the numbers but surely 4000+?
Cheers

Attendance 4003. I’d say that’s pretty damn good for zero away fans and horrific weather. A step in the right direction for sure.

4003 home only crowd impressive considering the weather and United playing at the same time. Let’s hope we keep building the numbers
Hard to judge a performance in conditions like that. After being 20-0 up it felt a bit disappointing that we didn’t win by more but overall it was a decent display. If we can with that much pace and passing ability in that weather then it bodes well for the rest of the season. Shame we couldn’t have ended up 2nd or 3rd but 2 from 2 will do 😊
I thought we were very good until we were 20-0 up and then we got a bit sloppy and ill disciplined which allowed them back into the game. But Toulouse played well the 10 mins either side of half time.
Thought King V looked very good again and Lafai has been impressive. Both half backs and wingers very good. And good to see Sarge get a few minutes too

First time I have seen Vuniyawawa play and I was 100% impressed. Commitment going forward and in defence. Keep that up and he will be a great signing.

Solid performance under terrible conditions. Spine looking very good, and when you look at how good our edges are, I can't wait for the dry pitches!
If the forwards lay a platform and give their all, our backs will win us quite a few points.
