I always keep wondering why the Club pushed Marwan finally away, what is the plan to generate money and who’s responsibility that is. Or do we just try and survive for ever or until the 1 a 100 wave hits us? Just cant see the ambition beyond survival. Or is that all we have? I share these views and questions but the backlash isn’t worth it, a lot of people would prefer life without Marwan and life in the lower leagues than super league with koukash. I know which id prefer but I can understand the opposite opinion.

As you say stupid queue to get in the ground. Coffee and beer queues at HT ridiculous FT got first for a coffee, the guy had warm water for two, undrinkable, then had to go and fill his urn up, so to speak Really is a shambles. We were going to pay, as we’re a few others, in the restaurant, but there was none. Missing a trick, everywhere full for a Sunday lunch. In essence we’ve already left the AJ as we seem to be cutting down on services, but we couldn’t have played at Moor Lane anyway. Bleasy and Rowles seem to be developing another good team but nowhere decent to go and play. The hype about Moor Lane may be stirred up but I meet lots of folk not going to get a season ticket down there, and not interested in the place. In realistic terms we seem to be heading towards a third rate stadium probably just about Championship standard. Not being negative just pragmatic when you look at the facts. And of course the Board can say ‘the fans chose it ( so that’s us off the hook)’ and we gave them 3 other options ( actually only 2 as Bury gone): not. Great team forming with poor playing facilities, no training facilities, no offices, no parking but maybe good beer , hot coffee and a restaurant of type. Seems to me that’s reality, sadly. If you look around lots of towns, never mind cities they have Community Stadia , Salford have Poor Lane. But good rugby team. JJR This subject re the move as been flogged to death it is what it is.Hobson's. Nobody wants to move but know the choice is move or fold, I think those at the the game today will be at Moor Lane next season it might be reluctantly but they will be there.

I don’t think anyone at the club pushed Koukash away. He’s always been made welcome and was a regular after he stepped back until he teamed up with Beaumont
He made it clear he would only stay as the owner if we moved to Manchester and became a Manchester team rather than a salford team. So he did what he promised and walked. Could have been a disaster if a few fans hadn’t stepped up
Fair play to Marwan for putting his money in and for writing off the debts but he came to the conclusion that he couldn’t get RL to be a success in salford. That was his call. No one else’s

Did he not leave because he didn’t get his own way with the name change? I always wonder why people keep harping back to those glory days under marwan, the relegation battles, bad press, salary cap punishments. Whereas since he left we’ve been to 2 finals, and currently sit 3rd in the league with a fantastic squad. Moor Lane won’t be perfect, the issues are obvious, but we make of it what we can. There will be positives, the atmosphere will be better, we make it our own, we build from there. Let’s get behind the lads, everyone from top to bottom is doing they’re best. Personally think it’s looking pretty good right now

I'll reply properly tomorrow as I've been in the pub all evening enjoying another Salford win. I don't want to reply properly now JJR as TBH you probably wouldn't like my response and no doubt I'll break some sort of forum rules.👍 Needless to say I think I probably speak for a number of Salford fans by saying your constant negativity and slagging off of the club (without any reasonable alternatives is getting more than tiresome).
Bore off.
Well played again lads. 2 from 2 is a great start to the season and we're more than capable of getting another couple of wins from our next 2/3 games.👋

People moaning about queues, every where, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SALFORD RLFC, it is the stadium management company, car park is done by them, kiosks done by them, Get there early. i was there at 1.45 no problems what so ever.
the turn out yesterday was fantastic, 4,000 , for a home game, terrible conditions, no away fans, man utd playing and on the tele, wait till we beat hull and hudds, hopefully even more fans.
As for moor lane , when they buy the stadium , i will believe we will have to move, what it need is a salford fan to win the euro millions, but the ground, and send sale and salford football packing, or a sugar daddy,

As for Moor Lane I will be there, if financially it works its in our interest even if it takes 5-10yrs to become a home and we improve it over time. I feel the club is heading in the right direction and the improvement on the pitch is a bonus.

I’m guessing the weather impacted the parking as the attendants put pretty much everyone into the main car park which meant people on crossings , at the end of rows which weren’t spaces and on the rubble at the back which meant everyone ended up jammed in.
Hopefully the other car parks will be open next game as it was worse than normal

Heard a few interesting things at the game yesterday whether not it’s true or not remains to be seen. Apparently plans are we’re moving to Moore land but due to building work needing to be done to make it more a professional SL level we’ll be spending 2023 season at the Eithad training ground and then eventually moving into Moore lane the season after when buildings are complete.

They were training there last week due to our training pitch in poor state.

Is that Regional Athletics stadium or do you mean the Academy stadium, The one that Manchester Rangers RL team played st a few years back?

They were training there last week due to our training pitch in poor state. They were training at Platt Lane which is a University of Manchester Facility not the Etihad.

I bow to your superior knowledge RR
In that case amazing how a Uni can have a better playing surface than a SL and Premier RU Club.Perhaps Rowley was right in his criticism of the training facilities at the AJ
