He was a free agent and the club have identified a need to add to the squad. Glad we have signed him given he has played at SL level previously.

There was a very similar underwhelming response to signing Gil Dudson and he turned out to be a belting addition. Everyone get benefit of the doubt.

He didn't really stand out for us (Leigh) last season, but he wasn't alone on that score. Was thinking we might have tried to sign him for the championship (we may have I guess) but hope he goes well for you. I guess it wasn't much fun playing in a team that lost virtually every game. Good luck to him anyway.

I think it's another decent addition who adds depth to the squad and probably doesn't command more than a modest salary.

I think the key to this is that Haggerty has both played with and coached him , so knows his strengths and can motivate him. 30 yr old fit prop played at SL and Aus second level, not a bad start.

He has bags of experience to share with our younger forwards. He will want to impress especially on a one deal deal. His attitude will be good and he is well known to coaching staff. A welcome addition. Good luck to the lad.

For the one training session he’s done with us didn’t look half bad today. He isn’t going to light up the world but seems capable of doing the basics well
