Overall we looked decent. We still have ormondroyd and wells to come into the pack aswell.

Encouraging signs today. Croft looked excellent at times. Cross very good. Brierly was quality. Lots of set moves, plenty of ball movement. Looked like good understanding in the spine
Defence was a bit scratchy but looked like it was a communication problem as much as anything. Pack worked hard but lack of size will be an issue
Womens game was good too. Esp impressed with 7 and 11

Thought Croft and Syned were very good today - this for me is may be the most exciting half back partnership we have had in years. The structure in attack was pleasing after clueless Marshall last year. Agree with the comments on the pack although we do have a few to come back, certainly the signing of Gerrard makes sense. Hopefully the defence will improve as the team plays more - they were certainly communicating especially Syned in Defence on the left - he was shouting to the up the intensity. Playing with structure and enthusiasm is all most fans ask of a team.

Definitely moved the ball much quicker than last year.
Was quite impressed with Wright. Thought he looked promising. Sneyd and Croft look like a good partnership and looks like they helped with communication on the pitch which I felt was missing last year.
If you look who’s to come back then it looks promising. But we say that every year. Looking forward to Halifax
