It is impossible for anybody else, other than the self elected Board, to give a view, as they are the only ones with the full facts to make that decision To me a pointless exercise. In my view this is not a decision making exercise but the Board just wanting to give responsibility away. The Board should have made that decision , being in full ownership of the facts, done due diligence and be undertaking a planned move or not by now. The thing that amazes me is that when we’re in a corner fans are suddenly important, like in a community club. Hi JJR We have submitted our survey forms as requested by the club as,(a)The club said that was what they were going to do and (b) We actually wanted to have our say. There is a massive amount of space available for peoples comments on the proposed move, I have put forward several points just as I have previously, and the board does take the fans views/comments on board as in the past several points that I put forward regarding the proposed move actually showed up in a couple of the fans meetings which were displayed for all to see, several fans that I know did the same and we all got our questions answered. At every meeting that I have attended at the club the directors have always stressed the importance they attach to the supporters. If we hadn’t got this self elected board that you mention, we wouldn’t be having this discussion as there wouldn’t be a club as we know it. Up the Red Devil’s.

OSRD it seems a totally pointless exercise ; it’s Moor Lane. I think the Club just wants to say’you chose it’ .

A honestly thought there would be more information given regarding the cost for moving to Moor Lane. Asking for our opinions but how can we say yes to Moor Lane if we don’t know how much it will cost or who will pay for it? On a slightly pedantic note they say four voting options, but only three boxes to check.

The Board are hammered whatever they do. Can’t do right for doing wrong. As regards seeing actual figures ,that brings us back to the argument that,as a community club, all financial information should be revealed. That would simply lead to more protests that this or that was too expensive. To all intents and purposes it is a self appointed board,I’ll give you that, but following Koukash’s departure Rosler was screaming out for people to help him with the workload. We’ve had Wembley and OT. King has apparently used his house as security. It beggars belief that they are in the firing line re Gigg Lane. Their ‘survey’ spells out the rationale and effectively asks for our affirmation of their decision, which is fair enough Sorry, rant over.

The problem on here certain people are criticising tge board about everything if anyone takes time to talk to Paul King you will realise the sacrifices and stuff he has done for this club if anyone wants feel free to give ideas because it's not a closed shop and there not saying you choose for someone to blame there giving people the chance to be involved jeez someone on here dsnt like the people who are doing the best for this club!

I think everyone needs to calm down a bit.
I actually agree with both sides here, and it is possible to do so without conflict.
I agree with those that want the club to make the choice, after all they are the people who know the ins and outs of what is going on and they wouldn't knowingly enter into anything that would deliberately damage the club. I also agree with those that are happy to see the fans engaged on the matter. Everyone wants a positive outcome.
The problem the club has is endemic in society as a whole these days. Everyone is frightened to make the wrong decision, so the decision is spread out in the form of inclusion where you muddy the waters and the conclusion often throws up more division and questions. The club has the best idea of what is required and should include the fans to gauge the momentum of what needs to be done. But ultimately it can't take everyone's view into account and should be crystal clear in the decision it does eventually make and why. The fans need to reel themselves back in if the decision doesn't conform to their expectations and get on with it. We can disagree but still support each other. The last thing the club needs is even more division in an already divided time.

The outcome is already known, we cannot afford to stay at the AJ Bell nor will Neville and Co let us beyond 2023 once the deal (FC/Sharks) proceeds. The only option is Moor Lane if viable. Moving out of Salford is destined to fail. Lets just support the club and get on with this season.
