If you remember the Club (King) identified that he was going to ask fans where they wanted to go. For whatever reason and of course without all the facts …seem to remember we discussed this at length. Think most agreed only the Board has full info and needs to make the decision.
Jumble of facts in the article but couldn’t see if full due diligence has been completed.
Board needs to make a decision, soonest.

Agree with most of that but I’d rather they took a bit longer and achieved the right result and the best deal for the club. As agreed, let the board work at its own pace to achieve the correct result. Everyone will remember if they get it wrong,no one will remember if it took them 3 extra months. Creating time tension might help us.

I am more worried about the 2 million pounds we need to make the the stadium fit for purpose Because if we got that from the council I think their would be hell to pay.

Two million Pounds. Does it need all that ?? The Unmagnificent 6&7 and Vincent Dufus Spent double that amount to rebuild it.
Or Is that how much people who believe that there is no other way to travel on this planet from A to B other than by Car Is needed to build Car parks or Walkways from there Cars to the seats in the stadium.

As many have said on here, there’s only one option. The Board needs to take responsibility.

Got talking to Swinton fans yesterday who now play in Sale of all places with a year or two to run on their lease. A Moor Lane groundshare with Swinton makes economic sense for both clubs to be in Salford. Do not know if this has been discussed but if I was the Salford Board I would consider such a partnership in the long term.

Yes it would all make sense. Ground share, joint season tickets, feeder system, joint A team, joint Academy, joint marketing, cutting down costs, increasing income ……We also had potentially joint opportunities with Salford FC….but we of course may be playing in Bolton
I’ve never understood that when things are tight and opportunities are limited why people don’t work together
But Sale have worked it out and gone ahead, so we’re left picking up the pieces again, sadly…..with fans going to be asked where we want to play next year. V odd.

Season ticket holders check your email the fan consultation just landed on the future stadium/playing location. Simple for me I trust the Board to make the right decision and one that is financially viable.

The Board is doing the right thing, consulting the season ticket holders, but making it clear that there’s only one alternative option on the table if moving outside City limits isn’t a goer. So Moor Lane it is

It is impossible for anybody else, other than the self elected Board, to give a view, as they are the only ones with the full facts to make that decision
To me a pointless exercise. In my view this is not a decision making exercise but the Board just wanting to give responsibility away. The Board should have made that decision , being in full ownership of the facts, done due diligence and be undertaking a planned move or not by now.
The thing that amazes me is that when we’re in a corner fans are suddenly important, like in a community club.
