Just seen an RFL press release talking about Reserve Grade Football that it is 12 teams plus Salford. Assume most sides will field Academy teams plus a few fringe players. I wonder how Salford plan to fulfil these games?

Salford were in a reserve grade competition in 2020 that, I think, was cancelled due to COVID.
At the time there was some sort of partnership with Swinton. So the team was made up of a mix ; players who weren’t making the 19, youngsters, players from Swinton and maybe some from the Wales RL partnership.
Here’s the team v St Helens - 1st Feb 2020 - Lost 24-22
Jamie Abram,
Dafydd Jones,Ed Chamberlain, Elliot Kear, Krisnan Inu,
Alex Smith, Chris Atkin,
Chris Worrall, Connor Jones, Connor MacCallum,
Ryan Lannon, Jack Ormondroyd,
Henry Davies.
Subs: Connor Aspey, Joe Digby, Tom Millington, Tyler Brown.
Saints team had Lewis Dodd, Joe Batchelor and Ben Davies

Wasn’t there a piece written where they were having trials for it? And didn’t we go in with Swinton players?
Assume those not getting a game + those above.
