The question is; why ask anybody inc season ticket holders, who don’t have the knowledge to make a decision. Simply put as Paul king has stated, if the club dont have the backing of its fans then we may as well just shut up shop. if all the fans say for example want a move to Gigg Lane and the club then go an move to Moor Lane likelihood is fans will kick off which wont help anybody

As has been said on here many times; apparently we can’t stay at the AJ, the only alternative is Moor Lane , so get on with it. The Board has the full info, it’s far too late to set up a Supporters Consultative Committee and fully inform them, or use the Supporters Trust as perhaps could have happened, and we’re gradually running out of time. Fans will decide when it’s all in place. That’s how life works. Im a long time season ticket holder and I’ll now go to Moor Lane and see how it goes in the same way I went to the Willows and the AJ.
At this late stage the only ones able to make the decision are the 2 Boards involved in the Club

Good post JJR, looks like we are moving inexorably to Moor Lane in 2023 and Salford Council and Paul King must be working really well together to achieve this, given Gary Neville's regular interventions ...

No idea what the state of play is, but we have to get on with it

We have all had our say on this issue including me,and I think we agree are going to play at Moor Lane, depending on certain criteria being met the only things left to be decided are the bill for the alterations and can we afford it.That can only be decided on by the board not season ticket holders or any other supporters.

Politics aside if we end up at Moor Lane it does not bother me. Surviving and growing an Academy, slowly and being sustainable is much more important than any ties to the AJ Bell.
My concern is the RFL and them accepting the ground as fit for purpose in SL if we move, however that's beyond the clubs control.

Surely, if Cas and Wakey grounds are deemed 'fit for purpose' then Moor Lane will be.

Surely, if Cas and Wakey grounds are deemed 'fit for purpose' then Moor Lane will be. As a Trinity fan the 2 grounds are not fit for purpose. Trouble is our council has 3 rugby league clubs in our district, and has to treat each equally. citizen.wakefield.gov.uk/districts-rugby-league-clubs-set-for-a-6m-boost/?utm_content=bufferf72ca&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=bufferit has just been announced by Trinity club that a fully funded scheme has been agreed with the developers who failed to build a promised stadium years ago. This new agreement won’t see a fully rebuilt stadium but it will bring it up to required standard. A figure of £12 million is it there in te public domain, considerable work has been done recently £400.000 on floodlights, new roof on the community hub. A recent Q&A night with our chairman said the whole scheme goes to planning in December, and work for dismantling the old East Stand and the new rebuild starts in February. I’ve always enjoyed visiting the AJBell, and wished we had the same. I hope things work out for Salford when you move. It’s taken over 12 years to get to this point for Trinity to get to this stage.

Let’s hope it happens for them this time because it can’t be long before the lot falls down
