Addy shouldn’t be near the 17. Atkin is a far better bet.

Luckley & Wells should be somewhere in the 17 for me - Don`t forget BR is Greenwood`s Agent so he has to include him!

I thought it was interesting too. On paper, that’s a very good team. But as last season showed it’s the squad that’s important (I think it’s arguably stronger). Suspensions and Injuries went against us last year

I recall us discussing how strong our back line was and within weeks it was decimated. I agree squad looks arguably better than last season, fingers crossed we get a little more luck!

Still think we look light in the centres (Livett can cover there for when Watkins is injured and/or Sarge banned, Costello needs to up his game) and are relying on our new props to have more impact and consistency than they did at leeds and Warrington without a lot of strength in depth there - ormondroyd will hopefully continue to improve as will Luckley. Burke ok at prop. Johnson has some v good games and some not so good. Always tries hard but he is small for a prop so gets dominated sometimes I think
As is often the case, 1st 17/19 is decent but a few injuries and we’re relying on players who struggle to cut it consistently

I think plan B is Burgess in the centre and Rhys Williams on the wing. Not ideal but another option

Not ideal but another option I thought playing Burgess on centre was one of Marshall’s more curious decisions (although mostly driven by who was fit/not suspended to be fair) Will be interesting to see if Rowley makes the same call Always feels harsh to leave the Welsh Wizard out but Sio and Burgess at their best have to be first choice |
