I hope we keep Morson on-side They said they would step aside if we could get a better deal and they wouldn't mind continuing as a sponsor elsewhere back of the shirt etc so hopefully that is the case still.

Hopefully this could be a start of a good relationship. The Grafton Group who owns Selco are worth around £529m, so never say never. The other positive is that if we did move to Moor Lane; I am sure the “fit for purpose” build out costs will be reduced dramatically. What’s the point of being in with a builders merchant if they cannot provide materials at cost or less! The Selco Salford Stadium has a nice ring to it.

Well they're co-owners of Sale Sharks so I think it's clear to see where Ged Mason's (CEO of Morson) priorities lie. Don't forget he's an Eccles lad and a proud Salfordian apparently yet more interested in jumping into bed with the Ra Ra's from South Manchester. Bit like "Mr Salford" himself Fred Done.

SS come on get real mate, Morson is a big sponsor, unlike lots of other wealthy businessmen in Salford. If he likes Union, what’s the problem? Think we should be applauding him, not slagging him off mate.,

And, no doubt, doubly damned if you choose Gaelic football or hurling as well.

Hi Buddha. Do you have any idea what the difference is between morson and selco in terms of the finances? Many thanks Doubt anybody on here does. Actually Selco threw in a couple of bags of cement and some tungsten tip screws and Morson couldn't match that.

For some weeks now on the Club site the Morson Group have been shown as the club recruitment sponsor and for the life of me I cannot see how anyone can complain over the company’s involvement with Sale or ourselves. Equally the new sponsorship with Selco is a good thing, large national company supporting a Rugby League club, that should welcomed not made fun of, why should the financial details of the deal be made public? This is up to the club and its sponsors. The back room staff seem to be working hard behind the scenes, let’s give them some credit for the work that they are doing on the clubs behalf.

Morson have been big supporters of ours, and they have an interest in Sale. So what ? I prefer our game but occasionally enjoy a game of International Union. Selco sponsorship is a real win so congrats to all involved. The actual numbers are nothing to do with us,they’re confidential and rightly so. Remember ours is a sport that gave sponsorship to Eddie Stobart for adverts on lorries.

Any money coming into the club is a good thing in my books. I don't really care about the finer financial details, all I know is that more sponsorship equals more money for the club.
