Lets hope we get an announcement soon, the longer this goes on the less likely it seems to be the internal appointment of Rowley. Think Rowley, if he stays, will want to do it on his terms, and why not, he’s an out and out winner. We’ve lost a whole team of potential winners over the past 5 years and whoever comes in probably doesn’t just be making the stars of tomorrow for other teams. That’s probably part of the reason Watto went eventually, (besides the cash of course); must be harrowing each year to lose 6/7 of your best players. Yes they will be working to financial constraints and they will know that.But everything else should be down to them. It's like waiting for Christmas day isn't it. |

What has he won? When he was at Leigh I thought they played some decent stuff, they were definitely dirty but as has been mentioned that could be down to the fact they were playing SL with a championship squad. Toronto we’re also disciplinary challenged shall we say, and I don’t think he has the same excuse there. Plus he failed to get them promoted with a very good squad. When he joined us a couple of years back you could instantly see a difference, particularly our defence. But he wasn’t in charge, Watto was. If he gets a go good luck to him, really hope he does well, but jury definitely still out. |

I often wonder why people don’t enthuse about the Club.😩🤣
No ground, no coach, few players, no info….good management note. “In times of change keep the troops fully informed”

To me v impressive, knows the game inside out, but would need resource and doesn’t suffer fools gladly. Nobody can do it alone Just look what apparently cash strapped, in debt Wigan have set out as a coaching team Its not just about one man, it’s about developing a strategic way forward and resourcing it. If we don’t get Rowley I wonder who we might get given the circumstances of the Club. |

Fair enough haven’t met the bloke, he does come across well players seem to like him and I think he would be a decent appointment. From what we think our options are he would get my vote. However surely you can’t compare us with Wigan, no matter how cash strapped they are they will always be the biggest rugby league club in this country. They will always have resources. They have a benefactor who will spend money regardless of it being within the rules. I imagine king and Blease would love to be able to afford to have this, reality is though not many clubs can. I agree we need to develop a strategic way forward, if they haven’t already, but it has to be realistic and within our means. |

Meaning which ground as there's a difference with both venues. Paul King said that'll it be at the AJ Bell. So maybe that's the answer... |
