A decent signing for us.
Provides cover in a number of areas and can kick as well. Salford fan adds the extra dimension. I wouldn't be upset to see more Salford lads join in the near future...*cough* Ellis Robson *cough*

Watched Leigh a good few times this year with the wife being a Leigh fan and I’ll say he’s looked very good at FB this year. Still don’t know the deal with Escare still not done enough to keep him on beyond this year so we’ll see. But if Escare stays then he’s 1 with Brierley at 6

If Robson signs we have 4 Salford born players, so good signs for the future. Brierley can always find space is a good passer of a ball and has that asset that all good players need; speed. From what I’ve seen he’s put on a bit of size and his tackling has improved so let’s see how he goes.To me at least as good as Atkins and Escare.

He'll do a job and hopefully the fact he's playing for the club he supported as a kid will get that extra 10-15% out of him. Always good to have some utility cover and he won't cost the earth. He gets my full backing as does anyone else pulling on the red shirt.👍
We have to be realistic with signings. We can't afford to pay top dollar for players and we have to rely on a few punts (Jacko, Joey, Croft, Luckley) along with getting the best out of supposed "average" SL players/cast-offs (Dudson, Moose, Welham etc.... the list is endless) along with good coaching.
Maybe a move to Moor Lane will allow us a bit more leeway on the cap if we can generate our own cash with reduced overheads. 3500-4000 at ML must work out far better financially for the club than 4k at the AJ Bell.
Someone sat a few seats away from me at the Saints game was complaining that we were SL Grand Finalists 2 years ago and now we are only stayed up due to Leigh. Whilst I'm not one to settle for being "also-rans" there's a reason why Saints, Wigan, Leeds, Wire etc are continually dining at the top table and we aren't. More financial backing, Rugby League areas, youth development, bigger crowds. We don't have any of the above yet we continue to punch above our weight in Super League. A GF and CC final appearance in consecutive seasons was nothing short of a miracle and not something we should be expecting every season!
Let's hope Marshall can unearth a few gems in the off-season to complement some of the good players we already have. Assuming Toulouse are heading up they will no doubt strengthen and not be whipping boys next season. We need to hit the ground running and rack up a few early wins to ease the pressure on the squad/coach.

The format for next year isn’t yet decided. Leigh won’t be relegated and Toulouse will be promoted. If that’s the case more than 1 will be relegated next season. Just an educated guess

Think there’s going to be issues over Toulouse with the number of games they’ve played…and they have to go through the play offs with Fev looking good. Certainly not straight forward.
About time they formed a French Super League.

I wonder if the proposed changes (whatever they are: there has been no substantial declarations) are to do with having two games a season (three if affected by loop fixtures) with no away fans and their spending. On TRL, you get fed up by the belief that Bradford should be brought into SL as it is such a strong presence with potential. It was and may be... may. Equally boring is the view that Salford and at least one of the WF postcode clubs need to go to attract a big city club. (Like Liverpool City or London!) An educated guess is that there will be a 10 team league very soon and places may not be automatically taken from league position but involve the business model of that club.
So next season may be interesting and I would not assume that we are safe. One area we can now proudly point out that in a non-RL area we have players from this area and so can develop RL in it. A possible criterion. Welcome RB.

About time they formed a French Super League. All the Championship Teams agreed Before the start of the Championship season that the league table would be on a Percentage system ,Featherstone may have played a few more games But the one game they lost was home to Featherstone Which was considering Toulouse hadn't played for three weeks was a Good result. Toulouse put 82 past Newcastle on Saturday, So there in a bit of form as well Not sure where the Play off will be between Toulouse & Final will be but the 🇨🇵 Got to be Favourites.

Not Toulouse’s fault that none of the teams would travel to play them. Even the full time teams refused. Have Toulouse played a game at home? To be unbeaten when they’ve played most (all?) games away is impressive and they’ve earned their shot at promotion
