Does Higano offer anything that Patton doesn't? If not, I don't see any point in keeping him beyond the end of the season.

Well, for a start,Patten is off at the end of the season and he’s been very underwhelming,so he’s irrelevant in whether we keep him or not. I’ll reserve judgment on Higano until after the next 2 matches………perhaps not when I think about it. Depends who else is available

With regards Danny Orr there was people talking at the Hull match, in the glorious setting of the West Stand Toilets, that he was going to be replaced by Lee Briers for next season?

He likes to get rid of the ball as quickly as possible and never takes on the line. I would keep him for back up as I can’t see him being on a lot of money and that’s it, definitely not a starting HB.

Although, an overseas spot for a back-up HB seems ludicrously expensive for a club like Salford regardless of money.

I know he had covid but I remember him going well against an albeit weakened cas side away...

Patten seems to have disappeared completely, can’t remember him being in a squad or even at the ground recently - I thought he played well at Cas and against Wigan at home too , not sure what’s going to happen next season though with Hingano either but I agree we need to make a decision soon as we could realistically lose Tui , Hingano , Patten and Brown

A quota spot taken up by a third choice player. I think Atkin with Croft by his side might be a decent pairing. I see us building a squad around Croft for next season and quite excited to see how that unfolds.

Atkin is not a first-choice half and RM overrates him even playing him over Ackers at 9 last week. Told Ackers was not injured. On the Patton issue RM seemed to see him as a 9 then changed his mind. Apparently he played well in some tough games but RM's chaotic policy meant he never got a run. I believe covid caused him to miss several games. It's RM's choice but we need more than enthusiasm and work rate from a starting HB.

This Salford team seems to reflect that in droves.

In years Gone by Salford Fans would joke About A little infection picked up on a Away trip Something treated with a Strong dose of Antibiotics and A Talcum like powder, But Unfortunately according to the Local Health Authority around here &The NHS I've spoken to in the last Hour it was a Hot spot for Covid-19 in Newcastle, The NHS Had Countless reports coming from positive Tests including myself that Attended magic Weekend !!!
