Some decent posts on this here.
I'm with those that are willing to praise and criticize. I'm not blindly in any 'camp' and I really want what is best for my club. I think Bleasey and Paul King are sticking it out, which is probably the right decision at this point. Relegation, barring some miracle or RFL points docking is something we don't have to worry about now and allows the club to think about next season which is going to be a crucial season. More upheaval is probably not desired. Some decent signings for next year on paper (The dreaded paper!) and hopefully a more settled season Covid wise, although, who knows about that... and we might be going in the right direction. I'm not overly convinced at this point but I desperately want us to use this to push on for a strong finish which will see us start next season on a more positive note.

Bonita feels that I am (along with many others) talking bollocks about reviewing the situation after 10 or so matches.
Well that`s his view but I am more patient than him and have seen many crass decisions made when you don`t think things through.
This season has been hellish for fans, coaches, players etc. Hopefully a one off and thus to sack Marshall would in my view be a travesty and NOT Salford-like at all.
He has the poisoned chalice here and no matter what happens many fans will still be wanting him out after the next defeat.

I’m not the most patient person, granted, and I stressed we all want him to succeed. This season has indeed been hellish, for many reasons,so we don’t want the next one to be the same. Take the remainder of this season into account, and the start of next,we will know. Trust me,it won’t take 10 games. It’ll be apparent. Generally, clubs change coach because it’s cheaper and more realistic than changing all the players so the suggestion that a coach can only be judged by his own signings is indeed bollocks. It helps if players are played in their natural positions. Anyway, certainly no offence intended . Apologies. Anyway this subject has been done to death so I’ll bow out. Onwards and upwards.

I hope we are not discussing this 10 games into next season, because if we are we will be needing a miracle.

Give me some ideas please - just lets see the list you have in mind instead of the constant bashing you keep dishing out.

As we have all said we want Richard Marshall to succeed. he will be leading us in all probability next season. Where quite, a few didn't agree with you was the bit about the 10 games next season it just didn't make any sense, because if that is what happens next season and we all hope it doesn't,people will be saying what you were saying the new coach as got to have is own players.Thats the part of your argument that didn't make any sense. I couldn't care who coaches us,as long as we are winning More than we are loosing I am sure, that goes for us all.doesn't it.
