Why red54? Has he decided to leave? If not - sign him up - Quality player. Thought I heard he was retiring at the end of the season that’s all. Lets hope we can talk him out of it then! |

I hope - and think - maybe Marshall was being clever with his thinking re the side on Friday. I just feel he will be targeting the Leigh match and with Sio, Lannon, Pauli, Sarge, Ata, Taylor possibly being available maybe that was the plan.
Agree with everyone that the pack was outstanding and I hope all will stay for 2022 as cannot see big contracts amongst them but in return a lot of effort.
If Seb goes back to the Giants then surely either English or Wilson will be freed and either coming our way may be attractive.

If he was being clever, he has influence over who gets Covid and who has to isolate because of this ... in that case Marshall needs to replace Sajid Javid

I thought it was an excellent second half performance. We defended our line well in the first half. Hudds had a lot of ball in our half so to only concede one try was very impressive. We were pretty hopeless with the ball in the first half. When we kept hold of it in the second I thought we were good value for our win. Still too many penalties and handling errors but another gritty performance. Think we’re starting to see the Marshall style. Hard work in defence and attacking off direct running and playing from the gaps that creates. A lot of excellent individual performances
Interesting to watch Huddersfield. WTson has got pretty much the exact same attacking structures in place as at salford. Was like watching us a few years ago. Maybe that’s why we defended so well, we knew what they were going to do! First time I’ve watched Will Pryce. I thought he was very impressive

Our pack was superb and never took a backward step, aided by Williams and Inu coming out of defence.
My one concern is that every time we were tackled we seemed to end up on our back where’s Hudds seemed to dive to the ground landing in their front hence quick ptb.
Forgotten Jones was playing until he was coming off; his stats weren’t great and seemed to have one of his many, at times, lazy games.

First half we defended well but very poor with the ball. Second half was very good and ran out deserved winners. Hopefully, with players to come back we can finish the season well and build something to take us into next season.
