Call my cynical but I don't buy all these matches being postponed because of players having to self isolate. Some coincidence that last Saturdays showpiece final went ahead as scheduled but then within a few days both Saints and Castleford have 7 players each unavailable due to covid rules. The whole thing seems a nonsense to me when you compare to Premier League football last season that fulfilled all it's fixtures. Teams are obviously using the rules to suit and those with a high win percentage are happy to avoid a game if carrying injuries or fatigued rather than risk losing. It just embarrassing and makes RL look totally amateurish.

Sounds plausible, but surely some kind of evidence of cases would have to be provided?
What you are suggesting would place the clubs on pretty iffy ground legally speaking, which could possibly outweigh the benefits of the odd rest here and there.
Not to say you are wrong, it wouldn't be the biggest shock in history to find out that the RFL would be willing to sake certain peoples "Word for it" so to speak.
