NZ now closed its borders until the end of the year.
Oz still shutting down parts of the country as the pandemic moves around.
Seems a bit more understandable but both NZ and Oz had big teams in the Olympics. Basically Oz wanted to protect the NRL for next season. After what we’re going through with teams decimated each week, lots of players really ill and games called off. Can you blame them…probably not

Looks like my planned trip to Aus for part of The Ashes is now off (probably a good thing with the state of the England Test team!😂). Roll on next year with a fully fit Jofra and 76 year old Jimmy Anderson leading the attack....😁

The team is wrecked; too much cricket
Broad, Stokes, Archer, probably Jimmy out for the next India Test. If Root goes down, we’ve lost a third of our runs and I’ve booked for the Old Trafford test. 😩

Jimmy playing today so hopefully he'll be good for OT as well. Nice to see Hameed back as well... sods law that he seems to have found his form again after a few lean years at Lancs.😩 Now if only that bloody rain would hold off, I mean it only ever rains up north right?🤔 |

Just hope Jimmy plays at OT bowling from the Jimmy Anderson Stand.
I’m there day 3 as well just hope the match is still on by then 😀
