Everything to do with Peel and Sale being involved in a stadium that should be ours. Absolute b0llocks. Salford were gifted a stadium by Peel and Salford council. Should we have moved from the Willows probably not, but if someone gives you a brand new ground with a minuscule rent you are not going to turn it down. Now 10 years later Peel who are a business not a charity and the council who have a 28 million pound shortfall want to get some money back and get rid of a asset losing money every year. I would not go into business if I was you.

Russ,I really don't know where you are coming from, No disrespect to you,you go on about Union as a game,it does not float my boat, unless its the All Black's,but I recognise that a lot of people enjoy it,and they did not all go to Eton. And their are a lot of fine athletes play it,they are just like me or you and everyone on the forum. Come on now we are fighting for our club.the people who watch Sale are in the same race the Human Race. Its nothing to do with them our situation,I don't think they are all wishing for our demise far from it. We have all had a moan, now let's start thr fight.Thats what Salford people do,Or it is in the part I was brought up in. Ps I now live in Swinton, people here are fighting for their club.A club with a great history they are know less passionate than us, They don't think they have had as much help as we have,my wife is one of them.š

No point in talking about the rest. All the best though!

Salford were gifted a stadium by Peel and Salford council. Yeah right! given that Salford have not paid anywhere near their contracted Rent since we moved to the AJ Bell and are still playing their and running our entire operation from their whist paying circa 20% of what we should be paying how have they not been providing the club with a gift? if this was any other business we would have been kicked out after 2 months of playing their.

Salford were gifted a stadium by Peel and Salford council. Yeah right! Did Salford pay a penny to the building of the Stadium ? It was paid for by Peel and the council. Stop trying to blame everyone and get into the real world. You will be asking where the Myler money went next

It matters not a jot who is and who is not to blame: what can you do if someone was/is to blame but upset yourself. We have no way of getting any "justice" (if there is any reason to suggest there is someone to blame).
The fact is, like Oldham and Swinton, we cannot afford our "home" so have to move unless we suddenly find another Koukash. As someone who worked in Oldham when they lost their home and as someone who remembers a proud and good Swinton side, I know how easy it could be for the same to happen to us. Trying to find fault is not going to do that. From experience, the sourness that follows this behaviour divides groups and fans.
So a plea: let's work together as far as we can so we have a club in 2025.

Yes agree HB got to look forward and plan the next phase of the roller coaster:.better to put the past behind us, as we can't change it, and work together towards something better. Not sure who will formulate the plan and lead it though.

I may get hammered for this but if Gary Neville and his associates want to help would it be worth pursuing them taking us over and then both the football team and the rugby play out of the AJ Bell in effect creating like a Salford Sports Club.?
At the moment it is hard to see much hope for improvement in our fortunes. We have twelve months at AJ Bell and the impact that is having on us as a club. Moving to Moor Lane is an option but is hardly ideal with its capacity and access. Any new stadium will not be built overnight. We have great supporters and the work of the Supporters Trust is incredible but it will not sustain a club at Super League level. Indeed, I wonder how long we will remain a Super League club?
The club needs some investement whatever it decides hence my suggestion.

First of all it needs to develop a longer term strategy/ plan with a vision that we can all get involved in. We just seem to survive and drift, unless we're not told.
We have to move forward.

It's Peter Lim we need to court as he is the billionaire businessman (net worth circa US$2.5 billion) behind Salford FC and Valencia CF. He's also a bit of a philanthropist, so it would be great if we could get him involved in funding the pathway program.

Although itās off topic,Peter Lim opened an MUFC themed bar on the waterfront in Singapore. It failed so closed down quite quickly. Didnāt sell IPA,thatāll be the real reason

We've been sitting around waiting for a benefactor since Marwan. The likelihood of it happening is small these days. We've also been living for virtually free in a big stadium, which is coming to an end.
We've got to go forward and generate funds via a planned approach, in some other way or we'll slowly drift into the abyss.
