....to the town hall at 3pm to protest about the stadium situation?
I can't get out of work as got a meeting at 3 and not sure me dialling into a Teams call from a public protest will go down too well.😂
Details from the email received from the Supporters Trust below if anyone hasn't seen it.....
"We realise many people will be working but if you are able to attend your presence will be greatly appreciated and will help make the people of Salford's voice heard
At the moment the money men from Cheshire think they can just walk in and buy the stadium. We believe that is wrong and it should always remain the home of Salford Red Devils
We need the council to listen and this is another way of making our voice heard
The stadium petition has been submitted to the council with over 4600 signatures. We believe this to be a great effort considering the pandemic has prevented us going door to door in the city to drum up support
So please join Salford Red Devils supporters to peacefully protest against any sale of the AJ Bell Stadium this Thursday 6th May at 3pm outside Civic Centre

I wonder why they chose a day/time most people will be working? Assume because Swinton is a ghost town out of working hours so no-one at the town hall to take notice!😁 Fair play to those that made it earlier.👏 I'm sat outside Pendlebury Leisure Centre as we speak and the traffic/roadworks round here are an absolute joke. Why they won't work past 5.30pm f*ck knows but there would be a lot less disruption if they utilised as much of the day as possible to carry out all the supposed "upgrades".🙄

Contrary to the stereotype, people in Salford have jobs. Do you think 30 is a good turn out for a protest? Not having a go, my point being a day or time after the usual 9-5 Mon to Friday might have had more numbers. Thats why I asked why was this day/time picked
