It's a fantastic bit of Salford history with a massive connection to the club. Just think, that painting could cement our club financially for the next few years if we got the money for it.
We can dream...

It would be marvellous to own that painting
If Laurence was painting it in an area not too far from there today it would have been called ‘stopping the team getting to the match’ 😂

And not forgetting the Inevitable Covid cases caused by them . As they say football is no longer a sport it's entertainment run by big business with aim of making money; we become more like the American nightmare every day.

You’d need a big old canvas to fit that title on as well as the actual painting Kreuzbergred

You'd Probably need One of those Canvases of the Dimensions that Ruben's painted on. The Judgement of Paris & Venus, Cupid, Bacchus and Ceres For example Which spring to mind .

Whilst a small number went too far yesterday (and whoever bottled the police officer should be sent down for a long time) I'm not going to condemn everyone. Yesterday has been coming for a.long time and fans have had enough of leach like owners sucking cash out of clubs and fans. I'm not condoning any of the criminal damage either, but unfortunately when you get mass protests you always get dickheads tagging along who just want to fight/cause damage (as we see across the globe on a regular basis with COVID/BLM protests etc).

No statement from the Club on its position, odd bits that it's fighting it or might put in a counter offer; ST sent out a long winded message stating their position ( is the Clubs position) and someone from ST stated it was a done deal anyway So as usual no co-ordinated or planned appraoch just random acts of 'it shouldn't happen' Im happy to sign but what for, what's the plan, what's the Club doing, are the Club and ST working together, who's buying etc etc. Bit like Utd no info from above or am I missing something?

The club have released a statement on the whole AJ Bell issue, it was done as the initial leak was made. not sure what else you would want the club to say.

Since then there have been lots of statenpmdnts, petitions etc. Where does it all fit in? petitions etc are all fan led, nothing has been done by the club as of yet. im sure I have read that there have been some discussions with the club and council and that the club were looking at putting in a bid for the stadium.

If the Community Club of ours wants some co-ordinated support with those who are fighting their/ our case then to me it would seem reasonable for our Community Club to keep us up to date with happenings and to explain the purpose of/ need for petitions etc. If people are setting up petitions with no defined/ supported purpose by the Club then they're pointless. I have no real idea what going on or what's needed.
