Dudson was a bad buy as well according to some. It’s all about how the players adapt. A new lease of life at a new club can work wonders. Agree, I certainly wasn’t overly impressed when we signed Gil and definitely happy I was proved wrong. Generally I think professional coaches know more about rugby than me and I should trust their judgement, hopefully he flourishes at a better club 😊 |

How wrong I was, thankfully. I've learned that it doesn't pay to judge players on their previous exploits, even if that's all you have to go off. |

My concern was that Patton wasn`t a probing scrum half at Wire - kicking was his main plus so lets hope Danny Orr especially can coax some attacking nous into him - as you all imply - a change of club could be just what he needs.
