Brilliant game. A credit to both clubs. As that drop goal effort from Makinson hit the post, I honestly thought ....... now, where's Chris Hesketh ?? .. spooky stuff.

Don’t feel in the least bit sorry for Jacko and Jake. If players leave us to win trophies and then don’t win trophies then so be it
but I suspect there will never be another player who scores his team’s only try for different losing teams in consecutive grand finals
That said, I suspect Wigan will be the team to beat next year

Certainly one of the best games I've ever seen. The Intensity & Fitness of the players was unbelievable.
What a finish. I was really disappointed because I was looking forward to golden point.
Congratulations to both sides as neither deserved to lose.

Agree Dixon, Mcdermott has got to go, talks endlessly but says nothing. I have to watch with the sound off at times.
BBC commentary is always far better.

Agree with the commentary posts. It's been in need of a freshen-up for years. Wouldn't be too bad if Sky actually gave a toss, but I fear that they are happy with the cheap options that they've been going with for over ten years...

The game was so good I didn’t notice the commentary.
As good as he was,and is, I thought Roby for the Harry Sunderland was a lazy choice
