Marshall also mentioned he'd been trying a few players out in different positions in training so a surprise or 2 may be in the offing once season starts. Think he's already worried about trying to pick a backline from all the quality at his disposal as well!
He spoke highly about the likes of Inu as well and said how good he is with younger squad members and he's always at the forefront in training. Also said the likes of Burke is vastly underrated. Whilst we've lost the experience of Flash, Tyrone, Dudson & Welham I think we've got more than enough older heads around to take on that mantle of guiding the younger lads.
Paul King mentioned that Junior Red Devils is being looked into and they're discussing possible age groups of JRD's (11-16, U11's etc) and what sort of packs they might be getting on joining.
All positive stuff really and sounds like the squad are a really tight knit bunch (which we already knew) and the new additions are blending in really well. RM seems really keen on being involved with Rowley in the development pathway stuff as well so hopefully a few more local lads will be seen coming through over the next few years.
Watching Graham Jones trying to navigate Zoom was quite amusing and at one point I did start to get motion sickness due to the ever moving screen.😂
