Something going on behind the scenes he’s been on eBay selling most of his stuff I brought his grand final jacket the other day somethings not right just hope he’s not back on the Charlie

Bloody hell there's short and sweet and that.
He obviously needs help, it's sad when someone with his talent (I guess Turgut goes under the same banner) goes so far of the charts.
As a sport RL needs to meet this head on, offer help and guidance as needed.
You do wonder if this is all just the tip if the iceberg, obviously not good for a professional RL player to go crazy on the beer so you kind of think is cocaine a less harmful alternative right up until you get caught.

If you head down Cocaine and Champagne central (Monton) any given Saturday (current world situation aside) it's not the people quaffing pints who are on the disco dust it's the lads supping bottles and G&T (I just don't get that myself).
Much less likely to trouble a pro athlete with the reduced calorie intake.
Regardless you do worry if coke is more of an issue that our sport is either acknowledging or ignoring.

Yeah fully agree, I actually meant alcohol and that go hand in hand, not pints. |

Oh yeah I don't think any sane person takes coke and doesn't have a beer.
I remember back in the 80's I used to see (mainly because we were there drinking with them) Salford players of the time falling out of the Farmers Arms after a lock in hammered on a Saturday night before a game on the Sunday, my point being now RL players are more likely to go have a few less invasive drinks but I'd guess there is the temptation to do a line so they get the same buzz as all the rest of the crowd.

TTM think he was found not guilty of that accusation. We won't know but unfair at this stage. Let's not vilify him for rumours.
Really nice guy, talented rugby player, served us well, got it wrong. Think it's worth leaving it at that and not guessing at what's happened until the facts are out.

There's a lot of implication on this thread that does not seem to be backed up by any evidence. The statement also states that Walker terminated his contract, not the other way around. Perhaps he has decided he wants to leave the sport, move to a different country... could be lots of reasons.
