The team were fantastic today and I think we could have called it off but in true spirit Watto played on. Not a moan unlike Powell
I think it's on this Saturday come what may but the one thing we can guarantee is that we'll be fighting for the win.
Yates, Ika, Burke tremendous in the pack and the young backs dug in
Sadly Pauli, too many errors not up to it. Few forward passes but only one given ,,,against us with a try scoring opportunity and the replay showed it wasn't.
But fantastic team spirit determination and guts. Enjoyed it.

Lussick is walking around Lidl in Winton so he's obviously not 1.

Hopefully whoever has got it is ok, that’s the most important thing. It would be less disruptive for the first team if Ormondroyd is one of them but I wouldn’t wish it on anyone regardless of impact on the team. I reckon there will be at least one key player with covid |

Don’t think there were any ‘2nd choice’ backs who didn’t get picked so I think that spot was always going to a ‘1st choice’ back in the hope they wouldn’t be needed |

The team having a bit bigger hill to climb is just SRD's luck, history and the usual.

Just our luck with the final so close, but the players are not immune and have lives and families away from the sport. Its awful for the boys that cannot play and will miss the final, pretty sure whoever turns out will do us proud.

Would be nice of the RFL to allow someone to represent the missing players at the inevitable victory ceremony. |
