Think Watto was testing him today, he played longer than he's ever done. Lannon to replace him for me. He's not got it anymore, sadly

Ashall-Bott is too good for Championship 1.
If he has a SL clause in his contract then I think Salford should be looking at him.

It’s amazing that Pauli has played in every game he’s been available for. I might be wrong but I think he might be the only player to have played in every game since lockdown. I’m pretty sure he’s one of only two players to have played in every game since the Warrington league game.
One of you guys needs to have a chat with Watto and tell him where he’s going wrong with his team selection 😉

Yates Ika and others great but for me Pauli, with all that potential just didn't do it. Dropped balls, poor tackles, on the back foot when he gets the ball. 10 yards from the line he should be like Big Ben, unstoppable.
Perhaps others see the positives

For me Olly Roberts and Greenwood are our best options at 2nd Row with Yates at Loose Forward. Lannon does not offer enough to start and Pauli is too often off the pace and makes poor mistakes, that said his offload was awesome and unlucky to be called forward. Not sure if Ashall Bott can play this weekend but he is an incredible player, would love to sign him. Did anyone see their penalty try? coverage was poor so did not see the push Childs cited.

Didn’t see tonight’s game and PP obviously had a shocker.
Watto doesn’t do crap players,so PP has been doing something right.

In real time I thought potential penalty try although it wasn't a great camera angle (too far away) and from recollection they never showed a repeat of the incident. OAB's try was a fantastic finish and he looks a little more sturdy than when he got injured playing against us for Widnes a couple of years back. Definitely the sort of player Watto could work wonders with I reckon. |

It’s a difficult situation (one I’m glad we have) but if you think for next season and beyond would sarge or Watkins have their nose put out by not playing? Welham is off so not going to affect team harmony. Just thinking out loud. Who knows what happens between now and Sat as we could get injuries in match, training or Covid. So therefore no one is 100% OK,fair point. 100% if fit,not ill,not banned and not hit by a bus. He will play FFS! I have a feeling I jinxed it!! |
