I’d personally start Ormandroyd over Greenwood . Stronger runner, hits better lines seems tougher. I must have been watching a different player as Ormondroyd has been seriously underwhelming and looks every bit a Championship player to me. Unless I'm getting my players mixed up?🤔 I’m not sure? To me Ormandroyd looks a lot stronger and makes more yards going forward. Greenwood always appears to hit the wrong line and hit the ground on impact, without getting into the realms of getting on a players back he always looks like he’s on the verge of going down injured just before he plays the ball. Really doesn’t fill me with confidence. After thinking about it I’d probably go with a back row of Lannon, McCarthy and Flash.

Think we've got to interchange Flanagan and McCarthy somehow at loose forward now Yates has been cheated out of a place

Greenwood is definitely a better all round backrower when he's back to his best and you can see him getting there slowly. Ormondroyd is good going forward better than Greenwood atm in that regard but his defence is poor. Ormondroyd is and always will be a prop, let's hope he's not going to be in the backrow long term and he's just filling places atm.

1. Sarginson 2. Williams 3. Watkins 4. Welham 5. Inu 6. Tui 7. Brown 8. Mossop 9. Lussick 10. Dudson 11. Roberts 12. Greenwood 13. McCarthy
14. Big Seb 15. Lannon 16. Flanagan 17. Pauli Pauli
It will be a tough game against a big Warrington pack, but we'll take a lot of confidence going into it after winning our last 4. It appears there will be showers for most of the game which will probably go in Wires favour, I feel the team with the best kicking game, set completion rate and the least amount of errors will progress to Wembley.
22-18 Salford, Kevin Brown MoM.

Think Burke has to be in there. Played really well against Catalan. But Roberts if fit could well be a better bet than Lannon or Greenwood. Think Flanagan has to start to lead. At least we have choices if any fitness doubts Wind and rain might be a leveller. Think Inu should ne an on field kicker.

I’d start with Lannon,in the Luke Yates rôle. I agree that Burke should be in and I’d prefer him to Roberts. I wouldn’t start with Flash. Save him for after the initial heavy traffic

I’d start with Lannon,in the Luke Yates rôle. I agree that Burke should be in and I’d prefer him to Roberts. I wouldn’t start with Flash. Save him for after the initial heavy traffic Lannon has only just come back into the side and came off the bench on Tuesday night so I can't see him starting and Watson has utilised him as an impact player before. Although, I could be wrong as he looked fairly sharp on Tuesday and was obviously playing to get in the semi-final team. I don't believe Greenwood would bring us a lot off the bench either, therefore I think he has to start if he plays. He also had his best game in a Salford shirt in the last round of the Cup so that may be taken into consideration. Burke will probably play to be honest, he's a lot more solid in defence than the likes of Pauli Pauli who can be lazy at times. Maybe Pauli will drop out? Agreed on Flanagan as well, keep him on the bench and bring him on as a ball playing loose forward after 20-25 minutes. Should be a brilliant game, I'm really looking forward to it! Just a shame we can't go...

It's reassuring having Rowley as Assistant Coach knowing he could step into the top job should Watto get snapped up by a NRL club. He comes across really well Rowls and his teams have always played an attractive style of Rugby wherever he's gone (albeit a bit dirty!).

Whatever the team is I can’t wait. I didn’t think I’d get this excited about salford getting to a semi-final that I couldn’t be at in person
However Flanagan is used he deserves to finish his career with a Wembley appearance

4 years ago this week a certain Gaz O'Brien kicked a very special drop goal.

Sale have 16 out with Covid - lets hope we haven`t been sharing their facilities and our lads remain 100% fit.

Absolutely lashing down at Saints. Pitched could be a bit of a state after the first game. Glad to see Kendall is reffing this game and not ours..
