Yes them Wakefield and Hull kr prosper because we, John Wilkie, followed the rules as did Widnes and Leigh who are now cannon fodder and their large fan bases are fed up and don't watch anymore. But of course we must have Toronto because Mrs Elstone wants to go to Canada and they have more lines on their pitch than British Rail. Oh and there's a Canadian 16 yr old who might play for them in the future.
I wonder why the games becoming a joke and Sky don't take it seriously?

Ackers Chamberlain Burke Oldmondroyd Inu ? Something has got to be going on there behind the scenes. Has he played at all this season (memory ain't the best)? Ok he lacks pace but his offloading game suits our current style of play where we look miles better moving the ball around quickly, he's a handful to put down and probably most importantly he gives us height when defending/attacking high kicks. We're consistently punished by teams utilising the cross-field kicks as our backline must be one of the shortest in SL. We were screwed as soon as Sio went off against Leeds and surely Inu could be used to cover the whole of the backline and 2nd row if required during a game. I'd also get Burke back into the mix as well for his versatility. |

Leeds have brought in 2 players on loan for at least a month and they put 50 points on us - think we need to act and bring some loans in
The players we’ll be playing such as Ackers , Inu etc haven’t played for months so may be more at risk from injuries which will then put us deeper in the brown stuff
Looking at Sio and Johnson they could be out for a while
I do wonder if IW is resting players with this in mind so one week Mossop , then Dudson so may Seb gets a rest this week

I wonder why the games becoming a joke and Sky don't take it seriously? 1) There is something truly unfair about the stadia business. 2) HKR & Wakey are hardly what you call prospering. 3) Widnes & Leigh fans are part of an overall disengagement with sport not just RL. Also they're fed up with not being sucessful, something which is limited to very few and so the whole fan base is bored, fed up and disenchanted.
4) None of the above is anything to do with TWP, Canada, Elstone or the number of lines or Canadian players there are.
All of this nonsense keeps swimming round RL just like the idea we're becoming a joke somewhere to people and unfortunately they end up like they're part of the same old soup but it's just the moaning about them that makes them look like one argument or even connected!

In these troubled times when money is tight, no relegation little chance now of top 4, and a few played not had an outing, then to me the sensible thing is to survive, spend as little as possible and wait til next season.
