Same team unless we pick up any suspensions or injuries

Ackers said he wasn’t going to be out long so he might replace Kear at some point (maybe not this week)? Although Lussick looked fine for nearly the whole game. Having an outside back on the bench always seems a bit of a waste.

Think Brown might be back soon What's happened to Dudson, injured, playing up or going?

Can we not have a day to enjoy yesterday’s great win without having to worry about the next game yet 😂
It will be a tougher test for Joey on Saturday with Catalans beasts in the pack running at him. I wonder if Kear is effectively the hooker cover - he goes to fb, Evalds into the halves and Atkin to 9. I think that’s what they did yesterday but not til about the 75th minute
I suspect we’ll be moving the ball a lot again to tire out their big units
And hopefully Sarge has got the dodgy defending out of his system cos he’s going to have Falou running at him and he had a blinder on Saturday

Folau is the big danger. Earlier in the season other teams knackered Joey by running the heavy stuff at him,so he was one of the leagues top tacklers. It’s good on him,but that’s not really his purpose. Far better on Sunday because we were kicking early, taking away some of the attritional stuff. As you say,Les Cats will be different

Kicking early that's how it has to be. The great Murph used to say 'you may be big and tough mate, buts let's see how fast you are and how long you can run for'. His aim was always tackle and kick, then to only play rugby in the opponents 25. Simple In that respect Hull didn't do too well. Bit like the game at Hull last year under old/real? rules. For 25 min Hull were brilliant then the petrol tank ran dry. Well done Watto.

Just don’t kick to Folau!

Or kick to him like they did to Shaul. Always gang up on the danger man to tire him a tad. I remember the Cup tie against Wigan when we just got VV and Wigan kicked to him all match and had 4 on him before he could move

I'd be kicking anywhere Falou isn't, he might be a bit of a greebe but he is without doubt the best player in SL.
When we have (hopefully) tired the big Catalan pack out I'd go as long as possible with a few kicks and then try the chip over, put doubt in their minds about what to expect.
We also need to defend the KO better, it's gone unnoticed that Hull got the ball back twice from there own KO and that could be crucial in a tight game.

Vatuvei MR I've always been told in sport to play the favourite on your terms. Isolate him and gang up on him, keep away from 1:1 on his terms Anyway we'll see

It is Wattos usual tactic. Did it to Shaul, do it to Makinson. Kick it high so your defence has time to get their in numbers by the time they catch it. But Folau plays in the centre so i suspect we won’t be kicking to him

Watching the hull game again, Kear plays at sunny half for the last 5 minutes. He makes a lovely half break and offload in the build up to the last try

And I think Flanagan was an interchange prop or middle. Interesting.

Honestly, after that performance why change the team? They were superb!
The only change I would potentially make for this weekend is perhaps bringing Ackers in for Kear. I've always been a fan of having a rotational hooker on the bench as we did is last seasons run in, but I can understand why he selected Kear for some cover across the backs, and at hooker as we saw later in yesterday's game.
Does anybody know how far Dudson is off? - He could potentially come in for big Seb or Johnson but both looked decent on Sunday, especially Johnson who is earning himself a reputation as a work horse.
Either way, an excellent restart has set the benchmark very high and Watson will no doubt have many selection headaches in the weeks to come if we perform like that every week.
Catalan will be a tougher game than Hull in my opinion however, having watched both sides this weekend, I think we will have too much flair for them.
I'm going 32-20 Salford

I’m not sure that Dudson is injured is he? He wasn’t mentioned in the pre-match conference as injured when Watto said brown, ackers and Roberts were out. Not sure why he wasn’t in.
The game could go either way. Catalans can be very good or very bad! Or anything in between. It’s their 3rd game so will be a little more match fit than us. And Sam Tomkins is back. That young stand in full back has looked a bit iffy under the high ball. Tomkins won’t be
