I fully understand why some of our fans are going along with the move to donate their money to the club instead of being refunded any monies due to them due to games being played behind closed doors. I sincerely hope though that some fans don’t feel pressured into following suit, when in reality they cannot afford to do so. I believe that the club must get this message over as well as publicising the fans who are passing on refunds. For what it’s worth I would urge families individuals and pensioners to know they are no lesser a supporter of the club because in these difficult times they have to request a refund. Ps I won’t be taking any season ticket money back, but will keep that between me and the club.

Our family will not be requesting any refund whatever happens to this season.

Due to a big change in my financial circumstances I was not really able to justify a season ticket but eventually told my grandson, who I have been trying to introduce to sport, we would have one last season. No chance of affording it next year and, given the 110 mile round trip to home games, I fear I have seen my last home game after following the team for 50 years. Not sure what to do about missed games as I need the money and so does the club but does anyone know if there are refunds on the parking season pass? I understand all this money goes to the stadium company.

Well Chief what a sad story. I think the club in its wisdom could find you and your grandson a ticket for next year. If not there are I'm sure a few of us on here that'd help you out. Take care and look forward to getting down to watch. Keep us posted.

This is a great shame and anyone on here that has access to MessrsBlease or King, which I don’t,will hopefully take it up for you regarding next season. A couple of days ago I tweeted the club and the two of them on this point. Its all well and good people voluntarily waiving their rights to a refund, which I like many others are in the fortunate position to do,but I tweeted that not everybody can afford to do that. Sadly,I didn’t receive a response. Best wishes. You probably have a better chance with the club on season ticket than the stadium company car park pass.

Agree BR. It struck me that King put two opposing points in the webcast. One that we're from a deprived area and secondly stressing that some were not going to ask for money back and pushing it a bit. Got to be balance. Whilst the Club, of course would like and push for people not to get their money back. You can't expect people in Chiefs position, a long time loyal supporter, to feel pressured when his circumstance has changed.

Thanks for the comments above. I wasn’t looking for sympathy, just really reiterating the original message that The Font made that not everyone’s circumstances allow them to do what they would like to.

For various reasons I didn't get a season ticket this year so this kind of excludes me from the debate.
But saying that if I had I'd have been in a terrible position, help the club that I live and breath for or help myself (I've applied to be made bankrupt this week).
We don't need to judge people but understand that love for the club sometimes isn't the all important thing in life, despite the joy that it brings us.

This is the very first season I actually paid for my season ticket upfront only because I was lucky to have the cash, I normally pay monthly and will probably have to revert to that system next season. I don’t want a refund on this seasons ticket the club really do need it.

Not sympathy Chief but reality. Just wondering how we might help. This has hit some people really hard.

I’m really sorry to hear of the hardships that some of our fans have experienced and hopefully something practical can be done to help.I started this topic in the hope we could highlight that not just the club is suffering, and I hope that the club does realise hardship is a two way street and maybe there is a way of reflecting this reality with a discounted season ticket for those that are struggling perhaps just for one season.

I am a season ticket holder, and this is my idea, the club will offer fans money back on this season,s season ticket , to the ammount of games we havent played, So, you either take your money back in full, end off. Take a reduced priced season ticket for next season, or do what im going to try and do,
Which is see if the club will be happy with me taking a reduced price season ticket over 3 seasons, to minimise the loss to the club.
AS FOR CAR PARK PASS, i would want a refund on the matches not played.

Yes,my neighbour is a Rhinos season ticket holder and they’ve been offered refund, donate to club or credit spread across next 3 seasons tickets. We've been slow out of the blocks as the club is looking to get as many fans as possible to waive refunds. It is totally understandable but,as this thread shows, there are 2 sides of the coin, fans are not exactly flush with cash. Intersting, though, nobody has said that the club has refused a refund, presumably because it’s difficult to speak to anybody !

At the moment we don’t know how many games will be played which we can’t attend. We’ve already played more home games than most, and it looks like some outdoor performances with fans can take place from the end of this month. It wouldn’t surprise me to see fans in rl grounds by September, I may be way off, but given our crowds are rarely above small anyway we should be able to get all of our season ticket holders in straight away. Paul King mentioned in the Q&A last week that it would be around 3500 capacity for us using 2 stands, and after season ticket holders and corporate that would leave around 1k for open sale. That’s not to say everyone would be comfortable going back but the option may well be there.
