Good choice of coach for them, will go down very well with the very insular French Canadians.
My problem with them getting in the league is we haven't learnt from Toronto, a stipulation should be that you play at a stadium that is in use from the 1st weekend of the season and not let them have large blocks of homes games from mid season onwards.

Serious question. Is it possible,in Canada,to conform with that stipulation??

The stadium NY will use is another example so all 3 transatlantic teams will not be able to play home games until I'd guess April at the earliest.

We had a load of home games early on - did anyone really mind then? I agree it becomes an issue with multiple teams doing it though but thats a way off.

I agree MR with the where possible bit, I just don’t get people going mad over it (not on here but elsewhere).
Toronto had a decent idea this year to play some ‘home’ games at other stadiums here but didn’t have time to do it properly- hopefully they can sort it next year and have a couple more well planned/advertised ‘home’ games early on.

Would a load of Quebecois travel to Watch Ottawa ,I believe the Reason Ottawa was chosen is because of the large amount of British & Irish Born and Heritage who aren't strangers to Rugby. Also the French Canadians seem to dislike Ontario people Due the State of Ontario flag featuring the British Union flag ( Union Jack applies only when used as a jack flag on a ship ) and St Georges flag in the crest. Then again French Canadians seem to dislike a lot of people.

They'd be a lot of Health & Safety issues as Well, Plus players welfare frostbite Players who can't swim in danger of drowning under the Ice !!

No wonder Laurent looked excited at the press conference 3 years in yawn is enough to dampen anyone's sense of fun and enthusiasm.

Got to give huge credit to Rowley, when he came in 2019 we went on that long winning run to get us to 3rd in the league and now fighting to get in the play offs this season. He's proved alot of people wrong, I just hope for him that he can keep the spine of the team and add to it next season.
Paul Rowley red n white army...

One of the great aspects of Rowley is he’s open, realistic and honest and then of course this gets those two magic things from hos players Trust and Respect.
A lesson for all.
