It has to be. With less than two minutes to go we needed 2 scores and got them. In addition GOB added that phenomenal drop goal to win it. It was the Aguero moment in our great sport.

AD (CE) 01 - 100 1ST CENTURY AD (CE) … AD (CE) 1901- 2000 20TH CENTURY AD (CE) 2001- 2100 21ST CENTURY. So the 1st decade of the 21st century starts 2001 and ended 2010. Therefore the 2nd started 2011 and will end 31/12/2020.
Just because journalists say something, do not assume they are right. EVER. Sky are using the decade phrase lightly and for entertainment. Nowt more. Not that it is important in this context. Now tell Sky you want 10 years of Sky sports but will pay from 2020-2029 and see how far they will allow you.

Both of them are 100% Incorrect , I follow the Armenian calendar where it's currently The year 1468 and also the Ethiopian calendar where it's currently 2012-2012. And of Course it's 1983 in Yorkshire.

And finally; The decade 1 Jan 1 2010- Dec 31 2010 2 Jan 1 2011 - Dec 31 2011 3 12 4 13 5 14 6 15 7 16 8 17 9 18 10 Jan 1 2019 - Dec 31 2019
It all stated Jan 1 0000 to Dec 31 0000 ie it could only get to Year 1 after 12 months of Year 0
Happy New Year 2020 to all those bored to death like me!
