Oh and gutted for Watto as well. Whilst Holbrook is fully deserving and it's pretty impossible to not give it to a guy who's coached a team that's almost been invincible all year, Watto's achievements must be up there with anything ever seen in the British game.
I mean it's remarkable enough that a lad from Buile Hill has even got a job (😉) never mind leading his side out at Old Trafford!😁

Thoroughly deserved for Hastings, well done to him. He's had an amazing season, and will go down as a Salford legend despite his relatively short time here.
Disappointed for Watto. Seems a bit daft, especially if we go on to win on Saturday. Surely these awards should only be given out once the season has actually finished?!

What’s daft Cc final Won the league by 16 points GF When he came to Saints they had the era of Cunningham and the club were in total dissaray, granted they can get big money players but look at the players he has nurtured and brought through the club. What IW has done is amazing but I’m pretty sure even he would say Holbrook deserves it. Watto next season for Coach of the year😀

Both have good arguments for winning it but for me it comes down to this - Saints would have been there or thereabouts without Holbrook whereas we’d have been nowhere without Watson. I’m not losing sleep over it though and I can guarantee Watson isn’t either.

If Holbrook had been our coach at the start of the season would we be in the final I know it is subjective but I doubt it Because at this moment in time his team as played some good stuff but won nothing sorry I don't count the hub cap. Just my opinion.

It’s all hyperthetical. The prize has been given and won by Holbrook. He also won by a large margin. Let’s move on and look forward to Saturday

Is there a full list of prize winners and who ranked where?
Would be interesting to see who got what.

I’m not losing sleep over it though and I can guarantee Watson isn’t either. Saints, without Holbrook but with Cunningham, were bloody awful. That team would not have made the play-offs. Both Holbrook and Watson deserve recognition for what they have achieved at under-performing clubs. I'd have voted for Watson, naturally, but I can't really complain about Holbrook winning it.
