Very curious to find out who's travelling the the greatest distance for the game. Not just on here as I'm sure there will be people coming from not just Europe but much further afield, would be great PR for the club to make something of this. Know I've watched Salford for longer than I can remember and lived overseas, if I still did nothing would stop me being there this weekend and can see many others with the same outlook. My mate Steve, along time Salford fan moved to Spain about 12 years ago. He came over last Thursday for the Semi Final and booked to go back the Monday after the Grand Final just in case. He's over the moon now

My mates a Warrington fan and we were having a lengthy chat about Salfords chances. He said when they beat them in the challenge Cup final they didn't give them time to settle. From the first whistle wire went out with a game plan and it didn't allow Saints to find any rhythm. From the games I've watched this year it seems saints really go at it for 20 Mins and either take their foot off the gas or run out of steam. If we can slow them down in the ruck, watch their pace on both edges, we could be in with a good shout. I also think a bit of rain could be a leveller which is fairly guaranteed this time of year.

I read a story on one of the Facebook groups - there's a Salford fan coming all the way from New Zealand and he flies in to Manchester on Saturday morning. The journey is : Wellington > Sydney > Singapore > Manchester That's 11,576 miles and and 24 hours total flying time. There's also another fan who is making the journey from Brisbane. Great effort.

Kendall will be ref for the final. Seems to have got it by default but itβs fine - we did beat Wire away with him in charge.

Just wanted to pass on my best wishes and congratulations on a magnificent season for your club and supporters.
You fully deserve to be in the Grand Final after some fantastic performances.
Hope you all have a great day and enjoy the experience.
I know St Helens will be favourites but I really think you have a great chance if you stay tough and hang on in, even if you go behind on the scoreboard. Defence will be the key. We have beaten Saints 4 times in previous finals and every time we were the underdogs. I will be hoping you will come home with the trophy.

A mate just sent me that, someone's doesn't know when to avoid the Mancunian Way Love it! Was hoping maybe the Trafford Centre would put some stuff up and potentially the big screens in the Printworks. I currently work at Co-op HQ in Manchester and we have a couple of huge screens in our main atrium (oo er matron!π²). Wonder if I can get someone in IT to hack in and put a good luck message on. Would defo pi$$ a few Saints fans in the building off!π
