I believe the Doc was on the radio after the match today. Did anyone hear it and what did he say?

Marwan as just been on GMR radio and said he as told the players his decision for next year. so why not let us fans know whats happening. He also said he would never be interested in any other rugby team if he left Salford Once a Red Devil always a Red Devil. Also said if we get an home tie in the £Million game it could be at Leigh/Warrington as Sale are at home on that date.

I'm away so can't go anyway but you'd hope that the club would make it free to attend and put on coaches to the MPG, pack it out with Salford fans if we get a home tie.
Can't we play at the little stadium next to the C O M ground?

Sounded to me like he's staying, but could take it either way I guess. Hate all this drama, if he's decided just say ffs?! All about him

Is he going? Is he staying? What a way to run a club. We ask why supporters have given up, utterly depressing interview, playing with supporters who like me have watched for near on 40 years🤕

The writing is on the wall everyone which ever way it goes.
What a shame people are finding MK as a target once again.
I could be on TotalRL to read that stuff, or the Shed! But there you go.
TBH it might be nice to move away from RL because it's been a very depressing ride for the most part, and only okay if you're a Leeds ,Saints,Wigan, Wolves and now Hull fan. The Bulls for a while, but for the rest of us well ............

He said that he was disappointed with the attendances and couldn't afford to bankroll the club next season. The idea that we could be playing the MPG away at Warrington is terrible.
It sounds to me like he's going. It would be nice to know either way what his intentions are, and what the fans can expect next season.

What happened to the fabled consortium who were interested in the club?
If he is going and we go down what are we left with, an expensive squad, virtually no income and crowds that with the best will in the world will struggle to average 2000, hardly going to have the worlds biggest investors lining up to buy in.
Said it elsewhere but the Doc should shoulder some of the responsibility for the low crowds, before the points deduction the club was undoubtedly on an upwards curve but since then everything has gone into free fall and no matter how much the Doc protests his innocence on technicalities the reality is we cheated, we got caught and we got punished accordingly.

Regardless of which way he decides to go, he probably can't say anything at this point.
If he is going he may have interested parties willing to take over, but only if we retain SL status. If he came out and said something to this effect it would cause even more turmoil as fans, players, staff will just see more uncertainty in the future. This way, he just shoulders the blame for the uncertainty at this stage.
If I was a gambling man I'd say he was on his way, but I don't think he'd leave the Club to die either.

He stated that if we are still in SL next year the finances are in place for another season, I like jumping to conclusions but I took this that he would be off either way.
Whether we win the final 2 games or not everyone is talking about "the home tie" in the mpg, from the comments on last weeks tribunal (not wanting to play the victim card, which we I'm hearing far too often now) it sounds like we may not have a choice and will end up in 5th position if the RFL get their way and slap us with another points deduction - "the worst fan record in the league!"......hang on what fans?

Yes redgunner it's all about opinions and that's all we have. I thought he sounded jaded and weary, I felt he was retracting from behaving as he has done so far ie putting his money in till we gained success. I don't believe it's about him unless scratching your head wondering what you have to do to get people to torn up is the new ego-centric. I've read too much stuff on other forums to let it slip by unremarked now. But as it says on the tin you can talk about anything on here!

Indeed! Each to their own, be boring if we all thought the same! As much as I'm sad at our current state and I think he could have handled things differently, I do think he genuinely does love salford and has tried to do his best. I hope for him as much as us we turn this round
