Well I enjoyed that! Leeds were definitely up for it, defended brilliantly and murdered us around the ruck at times again. Last ten minutes in the first half and first twenty of the second we did our best to chuck that away but our defence and much improved mental strength won out again.
JJ MotM for me - disrupted Leeds defence all game. Bibby wasn’t far off and Lussick did what Lussick does. Hastings was patient and did the damage when the opportunities came. Kicking on the last wasn’t great tonight after weeks of it being excellent. Need to cut out the penalties next week - KR will love trying to drag us into an arm wrestle.
Don’t usually drink at games but I’m feeling very delicate this morning!

Just watched the highlights and sounded like a bit of a war of attrition. My god we’re a gritty difficult team to beat and have some class to boot. Can anyone who went provide some player ratings please?

Difficult to single anybody out as it was a great team effort, all playing their part in a really well organised way. Griffin apparently 55 tackles and only 1 pen given away, but missed a tackle for their first try.
We played a very attritional semi final type game, but always seemed in control. A lot of our planned plays didn't come off but they stuck at it. The ref, Moore had a good game, seemed very fair to us, in fact bent a little towards us, which was really unusual.

Just watched the highlights and sounded like a bit of a war of attrition. My god we’re a gritty difficult team to beat and have some class to boot. Can anyone who went provide some player ratings please? I’ll give it a go but it was very tense and emotional so many may disagree: Evalds - 7. Try, assist and some decent runs. Napping for the last leeds try. Sio - 6. Some good hard runs. Solid. Welham - 6. Mullered Myler a couple of times. Defended well. Bibby - 7. Good try and ran well all game. Inu - 5. Quiet until late on. Could have done better on attacking kicks. Tui - 5. Defended well but that blunted his attacking. Kicking wasn’t as good as previous weeks. Hastings - 7. Patient performance. Did damage early and late. Mossop - 7. Excellent. Tomkins - 6. Carried on his good defensive form. Dudson - 6. Excellent early on but took a knock I think and looked a bit jaded after that. Jones - 8. Pulled Leeds excellent defence all over the place. Griffin - 8. Unbelievable workload. McCarthy - 5. For some reason I can’t remember him doing much. Flash - 6. Solid again. Lussick - 8. Superb distribution and won us the game. Walker - 6. Solid. Burke - 6. Solid.

I think we need to give Watson a 10 as well.

I'd kill to put KR down as just think they're grubs, Smith is I agree a bit of a tw@ as a coach but I tell you what he will be an imperious DOR. Endless contacts and knowledge make him perfect for the position.

If London win at Wakey, then they don’t need our help. They are safe. So if London win, we will send HKR down if we beat them. What an incentive that is to win. Would love to see the face on Joel Tomkins if that happens.

Ok, I Now understand. And to quote yet again, The lyrics of the 1989 Song by Sydney Youngblood "All we can do is sit and wait" 9:45pm next Friday evening. There's also another verse that goes A year has come, a year has gone, Still hanging tough, the blues is going on. Fingers walk the edge of time, My heart is burning, I'm ready to fly.… Back down to the Championship Where the majority of teams are fairly sh ite.
