Last night, I was having a look into our run in and I'm not sure whether anyone else has noticed, but it's quite remarkable how well the fixtures are placed in our favour from now until the end of the season.
R27 - Warrington (H) - Thursday 29th August
Warrington play Saints on Saturday in the CC final on Saturday 25th August.
Rest days - Salford (11), Warrington (4)
R28 - Leeds (A) - Friday 6th September
Leeds play London away on Sunday 1st September in R27.
Rest days - Salford (7), Leeds (4)
R29 - Hull KR (H) - Sunday 15th September
Hull KR play London Broncos at home on Sunday 8th September.
Rest days - Salford (8), Hull KR (6)
After winning our last 5, I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see us win our final 3 games of the season when you consider the amount of additional rest we have over our opponents (an extra 12 days total). Which as we know is crucial in such a tough sport like Rugby League.
I just felt this is something worth highlighting and should hopefully build a bit of belief between now and the end of the campaign.
If I had to put money on I'd be backing us for a top 3 finish.
Where does everybody else think we will end up come the close of round 29?

I hope the KR game moves so I can attend.
I think Leeds is a real banana skin as they are starting to improve and you just know that Lui will have his best game yet for Leeds.
I'd settle for a top 5 finish, I'd kill for a top 3 as the additional revenue this will bring in will more than offset the early exit from the cup and hopefully give the club cash to operate without drama in the off season.

When things are in our favour I start to worry! I’m most worried about the Wire game to be honest - lose that and the top 5 might be out of out hands again. I fancy the Leeds game - we’ve got to win there some time - and we can’t possibly fall for KR’s antics again. 2 out of 3 and 5th would be brilliant.

Not time to worry, time to be excited.. Was it about this time last year, Hastings and Lussick and we were facing the likes of Leeds and Hull kr in the stupid bottom 4 survival system All we expected or hoped for this year was survival and here we are with the chance of Old Trafford and a good chance. Amazing get on the roller coaster and enjoy the ride.

Not matter what's happened in the past we always have to remain optimistic, things have to change at some point. Best player in the league Top try scorer 2nd highest points scored Top 5 defence 5 wins on the bounce Fully fit squad (Well, other than Chamberlain who wouldn't get in anyway). Wire up next who have lost 5 in a row

Throw in our budget and other things we’ve had to deal with and there are only a couple of teams that deserve to get in more than us. Just need to get over the finish line. I’m excited and nervous at the same time - thats what Salford do to me!

In the past then a Salford team on a good run against a team who can’t buy a win, on TV was an almost guaranteed loss. Throughout super league we have been a team that other clubs end their losing run against I believe this team is made of different stuff though and we’ve shown this season how good we can be. Watching Salford for a little over 30 years has left me feeling in a similar way as LondonRed is describing
But I have faith this year. Up the Reds

MR assume you've seen the England result. Amazing. Glad we've got more chance than they had! Now do we believe? See you at Old Trafford

Stokes born in NZ. His dad came over and coached Workington Town. Good heritage.

The only ever time I will ever want the home team at Old Trafford to Win, But if Crystal Bloody Palace can get a away win half a mile away anyone can.😎
