Hahaha, Who's upset. You sound the most upset due to the current turmoil, whereas I'm kinda hoping they'll get relegated and move in with Swinton, when this New ground gets the go ahead. Salford Rugby died the minute they left The Willows. Now that was rather upsetting when the soul of my Club was ripped apart. As for this current tripe, I couldn't care less. Hahaha, I'm not upset Russ I can assure you mate.

First thought was this is just another marwan gimic, and not read anything in to it. I'm more impressed we have someone looking after the salary cap. Although I do also think this shouldn't be too hard for an accountant to look after as part of the day to day.
It's not bad news, or good news, it doesn't make us in to a laughing stock or undermine our coach's. It shows marwan is still interested, that's about it.
Personally I'd prefer the money to be spent on marketing, but I don't think it's a bad thing

You must have a forgetful face as I don't recall any of your dazzling performances either. Genuinely. Not many appearances? I played in the Academy from when I was 16 until nearly 19 and I still don't know who you are. Seeing as those dazzling moments added up to no RL career I must deduce that you may not have been as dazzling as you think you were. Now I played Scrum Half in that game but very surprisingly it doesn't mention your name in the Line-ups. Can you remember it? I'll somehow dig it out of my Dads house and I'll send it to you privately I'd hate to embarrass you again. Did you ever play on Sky Sports for Salford Academy? Hahaha, I'm not upset Russ I can assure you mate. I'm probably the most upset on here about SRD's condition at the moment but I don't agree with you about why it's come about or who's to blame.  I do think MK may be going on his own road and the appointment of Silverwood isn't evidence of very much except the club feel that discipline is a key issue.  An SC manager is a pointed finger at the RFL, simple.  Leaving the Willows was a necessity and ripped the soul out those who CBA to travel down the road because it was much easier to walk around the corner.  And who would hope their team get relegated as a way forward?  I hope things improve for all of us, yes of course that includes you Dante, all the best,  Russ |

Ironically, I think he has me confused with someone else as the Salford Academy never played a single curtain-raiser while I played. Most academy games in the first few seasons were played on Saturday or during the week. So not surprising he has a video of himself (Bless) without me on it. And in answering his question, no, I never played on Sky Sports because it was after I'd finished playing.
No wonder I couldn't remember him. haha.

I think the two things are a two finger salute to the powers that be, and I can't say I blame him. What does it take for a club to have to spend money badly needed elsewhere on a stupid role like that one? Answer the way the RFL works if you don't tow the party line.

Not so much anal as a defensive/offensive strategy brought on by the old joke, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you! It's both an FU and a hit me with your best shot from MK. Silverwood can hardly be a favourite at Red Hall and the message in the appointment and the intention behind it is a pretty resounding one. |
