Who is the Mr ? Green we have signed for next season. Also does anyone know who we have signed for next season. Today's League Express reckons who could be making a signing this week

Is it a Code Name or a Really a player with a Surname is Green? Maybe Blake Green of NZ Warriors 32 year old stand Aussie Stand off. According to His Wikipedia page Now at the eighth professional club of his career, Green is regarded as somewhat of a journeyman. Also His Twitter page is Followed by Salford red devils and BBC Manchester So it probably is him who we have signed.

I believe we have signed a Green, a forward, from a Yorkhire club just wondering if it is the one who has signed for Wakey till the end of the season

I'd nurse the semi of all semis if it was Blake Green but I suspect it's the giant Hull prop.
Direct replacement for Big Ben I'd guess, another big unit so never a bad thing.
Sign JJ 2.0 and I'd be properly happy about the 2020 pack, couple of London lads I'd cherry pick if possible also.

Add Lannon or another 80 minute 2nd row to that pack and I’ll be happy. Ideally backup hooker, halfback and 3/4 to sort and then the squad looks finished I think.

I think Lannon's nailed on so there's your 80 minute forward. Assuming Brown comes (though I'd hope we have other options) Atkin is the back up halve/hooker, though I'd prefer to keep Wood (if fit) or get Brining back (if fit). I wonder if we'll go for Dixon at London, might not be the starting winger but a good replacement and not to shabby with the boot either.

I liked the look of him but think he’s tied down at London and doesn’t look like a Watson type winger. I think Championship might be our best bet if we can’t convince Inu to carry on playing. I’ll be happy if Lannon signs. If Brown signs and we re-sign Tomkins I can’t see many more incoming beyond those already lined up, although King alluded to a couple of ‘project’ players.

I don't think we've done that well with 'project' players.
Bennion, championship at a push. Olpherts, sorry out of his depth on the back foot. Nzoungou, never given his break. Murray, 1 time looks cracking and then the next time mediocre.
Oh and there's some chancer from the penal colony called Hastings, stealing a living 😉

Lussick and Brining worked out well. Lawton hasn’t. Obviously they will always be a risk but they don’t usually cost much so I guess it’s worth it.

Don't think we can class Lussick as a project player, I'm actually surprised he's not mentioned as a target by all and sundry as he's class, top top class.

I don’t know - he’d hardly played any first grade and our rivals for his signature (KR) planned to loan him out to the Championship so we took a bit of a risk. Agree he’s top class now - needs a rest though.

As we are going on about signings for next season,
Am i right in thinking, that who ever goes down , all those contracts are nil and void??? as they signed super league contracts, or have they changed the rules on this one???

I doubt Leeds will have that in there contracts but I also doubt they will go down.
If we are thinking cherry picking London for me as Hull KR I think have bought some right clart in the past couple of years.

I don’t know about KR and Leeds but I’m pretty sure most of London’s squad including recent signings (i.e. Morgan Smith and Aston) won’t be impacted by relegation. Some of the bigger signings might have a relegation clause in there but London don’t have any of those type of players.
Also, I’m not convinced London have many decent players left to sign. The best ones have been taken and their success has come from teamwork rather than individual talent.
